General Hospital Recap Tuesday, May 19: Danny Targeted, Rocco Panics & Valentin’s Dangerous Plan

On the next GH, Port Charles chaos explodes as Ross Cullum marks Danny Morgan for death, Rocco desperately tries to stop disaster, and Valentin Cassadine plots a risky rescue mission.

General Hospital recap is in for Tuesday, May 19, 2026. In today’s episode, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) wants Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) dead.

Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) get things straight.

Also, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) supports Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner). Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the ABC soap opera.

Justine Turner’s Conflict

Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talk about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

The ADA confesses that Curtis could be facing serious criminal charges. Justine has empathy for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

Sonny asks Justine to think of how this all went down, and how. Justine reads the report on Isaiah’s injuries and knows he’s dating Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Justine already knows what this is about.

Sonny tries to help Curtis, but it might be too late, Justine admits. They talk a bit more, then start making out.

Joe Fitzpatrick Set Straight

At the police station, Joe watches Curtis and Jordan. The man asks Dante if the couple dating is a problem for him. Dante explains who Curtis is. Joe announces he’s not the right fit and wants to resign.

In the interrogation room, Jordan quizzes Curtis. The man explains Isaiah had his car painted. Once they leave, Joe gets a worried look on his face.

Emma Scorpio-Drake’s Breakdown

At home, Emma starts to sob on the floor. She’s upset over Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) mug. Emma explains why the mug is so important to her.

Emma can’t believe they are transferring Anna to a maximum security facility. The fact that Anna was involved in a high-speed chase should give Emma some comfort.

Gio explains that it means her grandmother is not broken. This does make Emma feel better.

Carly Spencer Frets

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is drinking downstairs at home. She’s worried about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) says Joss is a capable young woman.

Carly freaks out over too many variables. Valentin says Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) still has feelings for her.

Valentin comments that he would send Joss away for her safety. Carly hopes Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) isn’t roped into the same life as Joss.

Valentin hopes so, too. The phone rings. Valentin tells Carly about Anna’s escape attempt. Valentin decides to break Anna out!

Danny Morgan’s Danger

Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) finds Danny and Charlotte. Danny’s sorry for what he said. They are still sneaking into Wyndemere. Rocco pleads with them to find another way, but Charlotte says this is the only option.

Rocco worries about being around Cullum. Charlotte and Danny are confused. Rocco says he’s dangerous.

Rocco warns he will call his Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). Danny doubts he’d do that. Danny and Charlotte leave as Rocco gets frustrated.

At Wyndemere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) offers Cullum a drink. The WSB director explains Danny is the one who shot him. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would cover for his son.

Sidwell understands that. Cullum doesn’t want to be exposed. Danny has to go, he demands. Sidwell says that is unwise as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) walks in.

The protocol will be ready in 24 hours. Once that is done, the next phase begins. Britt wants her meds. Cullum gets it ready, then asks why she lied to the police.

Britt asks who else would have pulled the trigger? Britt says Jason was the only one there.

Danny and Charlotte listen from outside a window.

Back inside, Sidwell orders Cullum to give Britt the medication. She should stay in the subbasement. Once she gets her dose, Britt leaves.

When the coast is clear, the teenagers break in. The kids discuss everything they heard.

They realize these guys really are dangerous and try to leave, but Cullum blocks them.

Rocco Falconeri’s Plea

Back to Rocco, he turns to Gio for help, but in private. Gio asks him to open up, but Rocco freaks out and leaves.

Curtis Ashford’s Apology

Over with Curtis, he apologizes to Jordan. The lady knows she can face the world now.

Back over with Gio, he turns to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Gio says Rocco might be in trouble.

Elsewhere, Rocco barges into Britt’s office. The teenager tells her about the break-in scheme.
