'General Hospital' Recap Wednesday, May 20: Jack Awakens, Britt Plans Her Exit & Cullum Learns The Truth

Willow Asked Nina To Give Jack His Injection

Laura requested Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to visit her office for some insights regarding Willow, from whom she needed to ask a favor.

Alexis proposed that since Willow prioritized her children, Laura could connect with her as a fellow mother. Meanwhile, Nina arrived at Willow’s office for a discussion.

However, Willow was eager to head to the hospital to keep Jack incapacitated-she mentioned that if he regained consciousness and spoke about the injection, it would raise questions about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) similar symptoms.

Concerned that Willow’s visit to Jack might seem suspicious, Nina volunteered to handle it herself.

Laura Asked Willow For A Favor

Willow passed the syringe to Nina, who managed to slip it into her purse just as Laura-having just received advice from Alexis on how to approach Willow for a favor- knocked on the door.

Nina made her exit, and Laura detailed the situation involving Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), inquiring if Willow could leverage her influence as a congresswoman.

She wanted her to facilitate Anna’s transfer from prison to a private mental health facility.

Willow consented to assist, recalling Anna’s significant role in saving Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) from Greenland during Willow’s fight with leukemia, and proceeded to make a call on Anna’s behalf.

Danny And Charlotte Got Lucky

At Wyndemere, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) confronted Danny, accusing him and Charlotte of trespassing.

He insisted that Danny reveal what he knew about his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), shooting him. He was pushing the teens through the front hall when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) opened the front door.

Cullum feigned ignorance of Sidwell, introducing himself as a WSB director needing to ask some questions.

Sidwell questioned what the teens were doing in his home, and Charlotte fabricated a story, claiming she wanted to show Danny around the place where she used to live.

Ava Recognized Delilah’s Tattoo

Cullum intended to take the intruders into custody but left after Ava and Sidwell dismissed the idea. Then Alexis arrived on Spoon Island, having been alerted to Danny’s situation by Ava, and apologized on behalf of Charlotte and Danny.

Alexis recounted what Danny experienced the night Jason was captured by the WSB, and the timeline she provided made Sidwell realize that Cullum was mistake; Danny couldn’t possibly be the shooter.

Before leaving with the teens, Alexis asked Ava for assistance in locating the family of Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone). She showed Ava a picture of Delilah’s tattoo, which Ava recognized.

Carly And Valentin Argued Over Him Wanting To Rescue Anna

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) criticized Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as “reckless and stupid” for his plan to travel to France. He argued that he wanted to rescue Anna from the mental health facility where she was confined.

She attempted to dissuade him, but he was adamant that he could reach Anna and help her overcome her misconceptions about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Carly also highlighted that Valentin’s departure would hinder their efforts to dismantle Sidwell and Cullum’s operations, as well as find Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

The two of them continued to argue, Carly insisting she was trying to save him from making a big mistake.

Danny And Charlotte Burst In The Room

Valentin insisted that Jack had placed Joss in a secure location, but Carly remained skeptical and bitterly remarked that they were no longer functioning as a team.

He argued that she would do the same to save Jason, but Carly retorted that although she loved Jason, she was not in love with him, adding, “You’re in love with Anna.”

Before Valentin could reply, Danny and Charlotte burst in to inform them that Cullum and Sidwell were coercing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) into working for them.

Danny suggested going to the police, but Valentin asserted that he would handle the situation himself. Valentin planned to destroy the prototype weapon Britt was being forced to work on himself.

Lulu Asked Ethan To Get Fake Passports For Her And Rocco

At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean)  stumbled upon his sister in the midst of packing a bag.

This was in preparation for a potential hasty departure with Rocco, should the need arise for them to leave town and vanish.

When Ethan inquired about how he could assist her, Lulu became quite emotional and remarked that he sounded just like their father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).

Ethan offered to accompany her on this journey, but she instead requested his help in obtaining fake passports for both her and Rocco.

Lulu was adamant about not wanting to take Charlotte along, so Ethan assured her that he would keep a watchful eye on his niece.

Gio Confided In Dante About Rocco’s State Of Mind

Meanwhile, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) reported to their father Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) his concerns about Rocco.

He mentioned that Rocco was anxious about Danny and Charlotte potentially engaging in reckless behavior and voiced his worries about Rocco’s current state of mind.

Dante acknowledged that he was aware of the issues Rocco was facing but refrained from providing further details.

After being unable to reach his son, he informed Gio that they needed to go out and locate his brother.

Dante reached out to Lulu, requesting that she remain at the house in case Rocco returned while he searched for him.

Lulu Confessed To Ethan Dante Didn’t Know About Her Plans  While Gio And Dante Connected Over Classical Music

Once the call ended, Lulu confessed to Ethan that Dante was unaware of her intention to flee with their son.

As they made their way to the Quartermaine mansion, Gio and Dante connected over the classical music that filled the car. Although Gio felt guilty about breaking his brother’s trust, Dante reassured him that he was making the right choice.

They would later find out how right that choice was, because Rocco is in more danger than he ever thought possible.

Gio had promised himself and told Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) he would not fail his little brother again!
