General Hospital Rumor: Dante Returns To Port Charles Just To Be Killed Off?

General Hospital spoilers tease that when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) returns to Port Charles, either on his own or via rescue by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he won’t be back for very long.

Various other General Hospital spoilers have teased that Dante could either be already dead, and Dominic is returning to GH for a short arc to fill in the backstory of how it happened, or he is rescued by Sonny but Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) divorces him because he wasn’t there when he was needed!

However, there could be another possibility, since Dante’s return appears to be to exit him off the GH canvas permanently; he could return and while in Port Charles, assist in the takedown of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and become Ryan’s final victim in the process!

This could happen in any of several different ways; even though General Hospital spoilers tease Ryan will be exposed in the next few weeks, Dante’s return may overlap.

Dom is just starting to film, and it’s said that GH films six weeks ahead. If Lulu remains in the hospital, he could take over Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) guard duties, or he may just be mad enough to become a vigilante along with many Port Charles residents who will want to do away with Ryan once he’s exposed!

Current plans are for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) to offer Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) a fake plea deal, where it’s publicized that he will plead guilty; but in reality will be working undercover in a manner of speaking to flush the real killer out. Dante could be called upon for his assistance as well in this sting; or he may volunteer.

It’s obvious when Jordan is trying to use a civilian in this by her own admission “unorthodox” plan, that the PCPD could use some extra hands! In addition, since Valerie Spencer portrayer Brytni Sarpy starts work as Elena Dawson over on CBS soap “The Young and The Restless” next week, GH may have Ryan off her as well, since it’s going to be a sudden exit, leaving Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) partner-less again and Dante may need to fill in that empty spot in the PCPD!
