General Hospital Rumor: Is Valentin Cesar Faison’s Son? If So, Why Didn’t His DNA Match Nathan West’s?

General Hospital spoilers tease that if Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) isn’t really a Cassadine and Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) wasn’t his father than who was? Could Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) be his father? Important questions need to be answered for General Hospital fans!

General Hospital Spoilers –  Acted Like Peter August Could Be His Little Brother – Until He Punched Him In The Gut!

It is true that Valentin has acted like a mentor and a lot like a big brother to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) since the two have been in Port Charles – that is, until he punched him in the gut when he was trying to go on the run with his little girl, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez)!

Some fans are thinking since they seem to have this brotherly relationship and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) claims the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) will not only disinherited Valentin by name but said he is not a Cassadine because Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was his mother, and Helena and Faison worked together all the time, that it means Faison was Valentin’s father! But how can that be if his DNA wasn’t a match to Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey)?

GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones Plucked One Of Valentin Cassadine’s Hairs And Found Out Nathan West Wasn’t Victor Cassadine’s Son

General Hospital viewers will recall a few years ago, when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was trying to find out family medical information when she was pregnant with James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca) she plucked one of Valentin’s hairs, and it didn’t match the DNA from Nathan.

It was later revealed that it was because Nathan wasn’t Victor Cassadine’s (Thaao Penghlis) son as Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had claimed; it turned out Cesar Faison was his father. If Valentin’s father was Faison then his DNA would have matched Nathan’s, and no one would have had any reason to falsify the DNA tests at that time.

So we already know that Valentin’s father wasn’t Cesar Faison – if the codicil is even authentic at all; how do we know that Helena didn’t forge it? It has yet to be authenticated!

General Hospital Spoilers – Some Fans Think Valentin Cassadine’s Father Could Be – Luke Spencer?

Some fans think Valentin’s father could be Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary)! That would be impossible, even if Helena seemed to be close with Luke when he was in his alter ego, “Fluke”. Valentin is 62 years old and Luke is 72! Others think his father could be Victor Jerome (Jack Axelrod), which would make Ava and Julian Jerome (Maura West, William DeVry) his half-sister and half brother.

Victor would have been old enough, but there is no historical evidence in General Hospital storylines to place him in Greece close to when Valentin was born. Writers could change history, however – and frequently have!

GH Spoilers – Could Valentin’s Father Be Irina Cassadine’s Father?

General Hospital viewers will recall several years back that Helena had a daughter that wasn’t Mikkos’ who she had kept captive in a mental institution, named Irina Cassadine (Alyshia Ochse). She had become involved with Luke and Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) son, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons). Her father’s identity was never revealed, but it is possible that she and Valentin could have had the same father. Helena showed exactly how evil she really was when she shot her dead!

General Hospital Spoilers – What About One Of Mikkos Cassadine’s Brothers Or Cousins?

It is possible that one of Mikkos’ brothers or cousins could have been Valentin’s father. One cousin, Petros Cassadine (John Colicos) could have definitely old enough, but we are not sure how old Victor is because his age has never been revealed. Mikkos would have disinherited Valentin if he found out Helena had cheated on him with his own brother or cousin, however! But then it could turn out that the codicil was forged by Helena – or even Nikolas! As his mother told Ava, “He’s acting like a Cassadine!”
