General Hospital: Sasha Older Than Kiki – Coincidence Or Big Clue?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) may have a little age difference between them!

On Friday, October 26th’s episode, Kiki and Sasha were sitting at a table at the Metro Court getting to know each other and having a good time, and Kiki showed Sasha a picture of her little sister Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and remarked she was glad to have a big sister!

Some General Hospital viewers may be a little confused by that statement, especially those who have been watching long enough to know the history of Silas Clay (Michael Easton), the girls’ father, Nina Reeves formerly Clay (Michelle Stafford), Ava Jerome (Maura West), and Nina’s mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills).

Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) in fact had originally come into town to take Silas down and arrest him for his part in Nina’s coma, which in fact had been caused by his “mother” Madeline, trying to cause a miscarriage! She didn’t want either Nina or the child to inherit any money from the Reeves riches! It would have been much easier just to leave them out of her will, but much soapier the way it was written!

According to character bios in various sites, Sasha is indeed about three months older than Kiki. One site has Sasha’s birthdate is listed as February 1992, later revised to February, 1993 although no exact birthday is listed, since the show itself has not yet revealed her birth date. Kiki’s birth date is listed as May 29, 1992, later revised to May 29, 1993.

That stinker Silas Clay sure didn’t waste any time getting is mistress Ava Jerome knocked up, did he? His wife Nina was barely in her coma at the time!  Some GH theories and spoilers hint that Sasha may not be Nina’s daughter after all, and the close birthdays could be a clue leading up to that twist.

However, with Madeline Reeves having been the manipulative money grabber she was, it’s quite possible she set the whole affair up. She never did approve of Silas because of his not coming from big money, and she also murdered Silas later on after Nina woke up from her coma.

For the benefit of newer GH viewers, that’s why Madeline was in prison. Poor Nina was the one who discovered his body!

Time will tell if there is anything more to the slight difference in Sasha and Kiki’s ages, and if this difference will turn out to prove important in future storylines. Keep watching GH and checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see what happens down the road!
