General Hospital Spoilers: A Police Investigation Confirms Ryan Couldn’t Have Killed Nik — So Who Did?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal the PCPD are combing Spoon Island and are sure to stumble upon Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) remains any time now. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) seriously lucked out having Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) break out of jail at a time like this and target her at Wyndemere. Bringing Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) with him was just the icing on the cake. Having two psychopathic killers roaming her island has the potential to give Ava a fantastic way to circumvent being accountable for her husband’s death. It’s too bad the investigation will reveal there’s no way Ryan could have been behind it. So who was?

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s All In The Angle

When the medical examiner team gets to work, it won’t take long before they find a contusion on Nikolas’ head that is consistent with the injury his brain sustained minutes before his death. The police may not be able to easily identify what caused the pattern of the injury on his head, but they’ll know something hit him with blunt force and it was no accident.

The long and short of it is that Ryan is missing his right hand, and the angle of Nikolas’ injury on his head is going to be in the perfect place for the police to determine there is no way someone could have clobbered him the way they did from behind with their left hand while leveling that kind of impact. It wasn’t Ryan.

GH Spoilers – Hint Heather Webber Was Too Late

If it wasn’t Ryan who killed Nikolas, then it must have been Heather, right? That’s what the police will assume as they start working toward proving that theory. Once again, they’ll be proven wrong. Nikolas could not have been killed by Ryan, Heather, or Esme, because they were all still locked up in Spring Ridge when Nikolas. His remains will be consistent with a body that expired well before the three maniacal musketeers ever made their way to Spoon Island. This is going to leave the police targeting a much wider net of potential suspects and wondering whodunnit.

General Hospital Spoilers — Who Else Wanted Nikolas Cassadine Dead?

The list of people who wouldn’t shed a tear if Nikolas dropped dead isn’t short, but not many of them would sacrifice their own well-being to put him in his grave. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was certainly pissed at Nikolas, and she let him know the last time she saw him. Furthermore, she knew he was the only other person besides Esme who could get her thrown in jail. If someone turns the spotlight on Liz, it might look like she had a motive for wanting him dead — not that anyone would believe she killed him.

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had been holding something over Nik’s head and it’ll make Laura Collins (Genie Francis) worry that he is behind Nikolas’ demise. However, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was also feuding with his father, as usual, so the police won’t write him off either. Last but not least, Ava was in the midst of a divorce with Nikolas — who wronged her and humiliated her. The police are going to have their hands full figuring this out.
