General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: New GH Head Nurse Phyllis Caulfield, The Nurse Nina Is Looking For?

General Hospital: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that the new head nurse Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) hired might be the same nurse Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is looking for. Her name is Phyllis Caulfield (actor name as yet unannounced).

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Is Phyllis Caulfield?

Viewers will recall that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina went to New York City in search of intel about her half-heart necklace. This was after another jeweler who Jax knew was able to identify the jeweler who made the clasp from a mark on it. They found the jeweler, who was retired, and went to his apartment in New York City with the necklace.

He had kept all his records, which were on paper, and found a copy of the receipt for when he split the necklace into two. Nina had previously asked if he recognized her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) but he hadn’t. That was when he went looking through his receipts and gave the receipt to Nina. The name on it was “Phyllis Caulfield” and Nina thought she recognized the name. She couldn’t place who she was at first, but then Jax and Nina went to have lunch, and they went to Ryan’s Bar.

When they got there, first she remembered it was where Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Silas Clay (Michael Easton) used to meet when he was cheating on her. Jax asked if she’d be more comfortable elsewhere, but she said she was fine.

She told Jax the whole story of Silas’ affair with Ava, and how she lost twenty years of her life in a coma. Madeline was responsible for both the coma and arranging for Ava to seduce Silas! Nina’s trip down bad memory lane jogged her memory about Phyllis Caulfield-she’d been the nurse who cared for her post-coma!

GH Spoilers – The Next Thing On Nina Reeves And Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ Agenda Is To Find Phyllis Summers

Nina came out of her twenty-year coma at the Crichton-Clark clinic in upstate New York. Viewers will recall that this was the clinic run by Victor Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis). Nina’s aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) his former lover killed him there! Drew Cain (Billy Miller), later thought to be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was also held in stasis there and revived by Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough).

Madeline may have known of the clinic through Liesl because of her relationship with Victor. Once Nina was released, she had a home care nurse named Rosalie Martinez (Linda Elena Tovar). Phyllis must have cared for her between when she woke up from the coma and when she was released. Next on Nina and Jax’s agenda is to find Phyllis. This could be difficult after so many years! However, it seems an interesting coincidence is at play.

At the same time Nina and Jax got the lead on Phyllis Caulfield, Cyrus hired a new head nurse for GH! Cyrus also hired Nina’s cousin, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thibaud) as chief of staff. Could Britt have known of Phyllis and referred her to Cyrus? It’s entirely possible! Nina and Jax may not have to go very far to find her!
