General Hospital Spoilers reveal Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is going to be in serious hot water with the mob soon. He thought he left all of this behind with his brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but as it turns out, his clientele just keeps bringing it back into his orbit.
This is going to present a pretty interesting paradox for Marty, who doesn’t feel like he should be beholden to protecting Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over himself just because of attorney-client privilege. One would hope that Nina would intervene before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his henchman could cause any real harm to Marty, but what if she’s blissfully unaware because she chooses not to pay attention to Sonny’s business? Yikes!
General Hospital Spoilers — Marty Grey Has Some Explaining To Do
Sonny won’t understand it when he confronts Marty and gets nothing out of the guy. Yeah, yeah, attorneys and their duty to respect their clients’ privacy.
He’s heard it all before, but Sonny knows that the right kind of pressure can make any egg crack — and he’s already got Marty’s number.
This is a soft egg, guys! With Laura Collins (Genie Francis) out of town, she’s unlikely to be able to help her brother by getting Sonny to back off. How is Marty going to get himself out of this pickle?
GH Spoilers – Tease Nina Reeves Could Let Him Take The Fall
It’s likely that Marty is going to place some considerable pressure on Nina to come clean with Sonny and everyone else involved — or else. Or else what exactly? We don’t know, but we’re betting he can get pretty creative.
He took this job thinking it would be pretty straightforward, and when he thought he was turning in Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and her new beau, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he didn’t factor in the likelihood that her ex-husband would get involved.
In fact, he might not have taken the job had he known, because Sonny’s reputation tends to precede him. It’s too bad Nina has hidden herself away from the reality of who her boyfriend is so well that she didn’t know that.
General Hospital Spoilers — Love vs. Loyalty
As Sonny starts to dig into the truth about who reported Carly to the SEC for insider trading, all roads are going to lead back to Marty, his girlfriend’s attorney. Will Sonny figure out Nina was behind it all, and if so, will their relationship stand a chance?
Sonny won’t leave any stone unturned in his search for the truth. When all clues point to Marty, Sonny will think back on the day Carly was brought in for questioning and that he knew Nina was speaking to Marty just hours earlier. But as Sonny pieces together the puzzle, a bigger question remains — will Nina come clean before it’s too late?
This storyline will present a delicate balance between love and loyalty, and we’re bound to find out which matters more to Sonny.
