Ava Jerome (Maura West) has tried psychics and now she is trying psychiatrists, having had a session with Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) in a recent General Hospital episode. She poured both her heart and her anger out in their session, with Neil telling her that admitting she needs help and asking for it was the first step in healing. The negative comments about her to the article in Crimson Magazine, “Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Ava” seem to have made her face the truth about herself, and it has not been pleasant! Sometimes the hardest eyes to look through are those of others that are looking at us, and Ava well knows it!

GH Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Was The Only One To Accept The Evil In Ava

Ryan Chamberlain was the only one to ever accept the evil in Ava, and told her she should embrace it. He accepted her fully, the good, the bad, and the ugly and maybe that is why she is going to visit him; the problem is, his kind of acceptance comes from obsession, which is not seeing HER, but seeing what he wants to see in her! Ava doesn’t realize this! She wants acceptance, but the only true acceptance comes through accepting oneself; if one doesn’t love or accept oneself, anything coming from others cannot be felt or perceived! She’s not going to feel true acceptance from Ryan, and she may only be putting herself back in danger should he ever escape!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Killed Her Daughter As A Gift To Her

If Ryan loves Ava, he has a strange, twisted way of showing it! He murdered her daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) as a gift to Ava; he thought that is what she wanted, by the way she talked about her stealing Griffin Munroe (Matt Cohen) away from her! When Ava found that out, she did respond appropriately in that she hated him for killing her daughter, but hated herself as well for not seeing him for what he was!

If Ava is going again to Ryan for love and acceptance, she is definitely barking up the wrong tree and going about it the wrong way! In her session with Neil, she had told him Nikolas Cassadine (Nick Stabile) was the only one who had ever seen the real her! Is she going to Ryan to make peace with her past since Nikolas is not available to go to?

The only way Ava will ever have peace with her past, her present, or her future is to have peace with herself and that will only come through self-acceptance! Once Ava learns to love, forgive, and accept herself, failures and all, then and only then will she stop looking for it in men!
