General Hospital Spoilers: Best Return Of 2022 Heather Webber!

General Hospital spoilers tease that as 2022 comes to a close it’s time to look back at some of the things that stood out in Port Charles, both the good and the no so good. First up, let’s take a look at the best character return of the year. There were a couple really good options in 2022 as both Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) made triumphant comebacks this year. But in this writer’s opinion, there is a clear winner.

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber Looks A Little Bit Different These Days!

Recasts are always tricky in cases like this, especially because Heather Webber is such an iconic character in General Hospital history. Robin Mattson took over the role all the way back in 1980 and made the part her own. Mattson has played the part on and off over the years, finally vacating the role five years ago. It’s hard to imagine anyone else filling her shoes and yet, Alley Mills has done an incredible job.

GH Spoilers – Heather Webber Always Makes An Impression.

From the moment Heather appeared on the screen, it seemed almost as if the character had never gone. It was smart to pair her right off with Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), a character who has a lot of history with Heather. Olivia’s fear and dread upon seeing Heather helped to ease the transition to a new actress even though the two women don’t look terribly similar.

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber May Not Be A Confined As Everyone Thinks!

Heather shared scenes with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) as Heather arrived at General Hospital for treatment. Curiously, Heather suffered from a flesh-eating bacteria which led Finn to believe that this wasn’t the first time Heather had left the asylum she has supposedly been in for the past five years. But that’s a mystery for another day. Heather was given the perfect opportunity to make an escape when the transport van she was in crashed. But Heather made a shocking move instead.

GH Spoilers – Back For A BLT!

Heather could have made a grand escape but instead she ended up in a very familiar spot. As viewers know, Heather has always love the BLT’s at Kelly’s Diner so that’s where she went. It was there that Heather encountered Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Although Heather scared Cameron the two of them still managed to bond over the loss of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Franco was Heather’s son and Cameron’s step-father and in these moments Mills shines as Heather was still visibly in pain because of Franco’s death. Heather was then sent back to the asylum, but hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of Heather in the coming days.
