General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal that WSB Port Charles Station Chief Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) not long for this world. In the weekly video promo for GH, it shows Chief Brennan at a table in the Metro Court and a woman’s hands putting a powdered substance in what appears to be his drink and dissolving it!
Drew And Ava Are Plotting
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are plotting-and apparently, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) isn’t the only one they’re plotting against.
Drew tells Ava he wants her to keep Brennan busy while he searches Brennan’s room, and it’s after that the woman’s hands are seen-they must be Ava’s!
Let’s focus in on what might be in that packet that Ava is dissolving in what appears to be Brennan’s alcoholic drink, since it’s already been confirmed that Brennan dies-just not when or how.
Ava should know that drugs and alcohol don’t mix, no matter if it’s outright poison or not-but the implication is that she wants to knock him out.

She needs to knock him out long enough to give Drew find what he’s looking for, which is probably the evidence Jack has against him.
Ava Has Messed With Drugs Before With Deadly Consequences
General Hospital fans will remember that Ava has messed with drugs with deadly consequences for others before-although she didn’t out and out intend to kill Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
But if she hadn’t messed with his bipolar meds and reduced the dosage, he may not have made the mistake of trying to steal Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) car, which Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) wired with a bomb!
Whatever she’s shaking into Jack’s drink, could interact with alcohol with fatal results-or, it could impair him enough to get into a fatal wreck.

Any number of things could happen, not to mention he could have a bad reaction to the drug itself, with the alcohol in his drink only making the effects much worse!
Will Ava’s Spiking Jack’s Drink Be His Last Stand?
Rumor has it that Chris L. McKenna stopped filming in June, but nothing has been confirmed-but the character being killed off is forecast for sometime this fall.
However, if Ava spiked his drink with something that could cause a coma, then he could linger on for a month or two, until his final scenes. No doubt, Brennan’s luck is about to run out, no matter how it happens.
The fact that he gave Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) an order that came from over his head seems to be the start of his exit storyline.
But whether the substance that Ava puts in his drink causes his death, or something else happens down the line, it’s all the same. It’s the beginning of the end for Jack Brennan!
