She never expected the organization — which she has been loyal and given decades of her life to — to give her the boot so abruptly and cruelty as they did. It appears that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has the last laugh this time, though Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) won’t want to see Anna think of it that way.

This couple may be headed for hard times as Anna struggles to watch Valentin carry on with his life as a WSB agent as the memory of her own fades to black. Can their relationship really withstand this pain and angst?

Some fans are speculating that there may be a larger scheme at play — perhaps also Victor‘s doing — and that the WSB isn’t really done with crucifying Anna just yet. Either way, it’s going to crush her to watch Valentin carry on with work while knowing she cannot know about any of it or help him. Never again will they go on a spy adventure together. How will this relationship last?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Fork In The Road

As Valentin and Anna head to Chechnya to help Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) look for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) at a property Victor left to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), they will soon notice their relationship is going to be tested. Drama could arise with the WSB during their trip, and as much as Anna will have questions, Valentin won’t be able to answer them.

However, this is going to complicate things as Anna is just a civilian now. She has no credentials. In fact, it’s illegal for him to share the information he has with her. This is going to put a real damper on the romance in the relationship. In the past, their shared love of spy games has fueled much of the flames between them.
