General Hospital Spoilers: Carly And Drew Go Public — And Nina Watches As Sonny Climbs The Walls

General Hospital spoilers reveals Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has found love again — with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Her ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) claims he’s happy for her, although he had to make mention that it’s always so difficult for him to see her with another man. Shouldn’t Sonny be used to this by now? After all, he took all of twenty minutes to move on from Carly and jump into bed with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Is he really entitled to feeling any way at all about who Carly spends her time with? In Sonny’s world, his feelings take precedent, and that’s just something Nina is going to have to learn to live with. While Drew and Carly have been keeping their relationship hush right now, they will soon decide to share the news with the world, and Sonny won’t be happy about it.

When Drew and Carly finally feel like it’s safe to tell their families they’re a couple, Sonny is going to grin and bear it. He truly does want Carly to be happy; he just can’t stand it that he wasn’t able to make her feel that way. Nothing drives Sonny crazier than losing control. As much as he wants to be the bigger guy and let Carly move on without so much as one snarky comment, he just can’t do it. His battle of wits with Drew at the gym recently proved that. Did anyone else notice the egg on Sonny’s face? Drew called his bluff, and it seems the two men know where they stand now. The only problem for Sonny is that Carly is standing by the wrong one as far as he’s concerned. Of course, he’ll never say this — and certainly not to Nina, but she’s no dummy.

The more that Sonny pulls away and throws himself into his work as a means to avoid how much it pains him that Carly is falling in love with someone else, the more Nina is going to feel like she’s losing him. Was it all just a way to pass his time until Carly decided she was ready for him again?
