General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Daunting Task, Play Peacemaker Between Michael And Sonny?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has a daunting task ahead of her as she makes a promise to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow made her promise to play peacemaker between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), knowing Michael will need his dad if she dies.

General Hospital Spoilers – Neither Willow Tait Or Carly Spencer Knows All

Neither Willow nor Carly know the extent to which Michael’s vendetta against Sonny goes-he’s been trying to get a set-up for Sonny to be arrested by the Feds. The Pikeman meeting set up by Michael is what got Sonny and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) ambushed at the warehouse in the first place. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) doesn’t know the whole story either, although she knows part of it, knowing Dex is a plant by Michael to take down Sonny.

Basically, Michael wants to ruin Sonny financially in every business he has, including the legitimate ones. He started by messing up his Corinthos coffee routes and blocking access to the warehouses, and now he’s trying to set him up for illegal trade of guns.

GH Spoilers – If They Knew, They’d Both Come Down Hard On Michael Corinthos

If Carly and Willow knew what Michael was trying to do they’d both come down hard on him, because all he’s doing is bringing more mob activity with the Pikeman group. After Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was put out of business, things were stable in Port Charles for a while, although the undercurrent was still fraught with danger from within. Willow most definitely would not approve of the lengths Michael is going to behind the scenes to frame his adoptive father-he’s being exactly what he professes to hate. Carly wouldn’t like it either even though Sonny hurt her badly with his rejection and becoming involved with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Tries To Get The Two Together

Carly tries to get the two of them, Michael and Sonny, together in a makeshift counseling session, and as expected, it isn’t exactly peaceful on Michael’s end. She convinces him, however, that the two of them need to call a cease-fire to their unofficial war for Willow’s sake and tells them this was Willow’s idea. It hasn’t been for lack of Sonny’s trying to make peace with Michael, the animosity has all been on Michael’s end; and Carly knows both of them better than anyone else.

Surely Michael can put the kibosh on his vendetta for that long, until after his and Willow’s wedding, and maybe a little longer. With Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) kidnapped, no one knows if Willow will survive and she deserves her request for peace be granted.
