Thanksgiving And Christmas Are Coming Soon!
The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are coming soon, and with it more Quartermaine family mayhem! There are two less Quartermaines then there were last year with the death of Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) and the presumed death of Drew Cain (Billy Miller).
There is one returnee, at least for the time being, Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton). Although not confirmed, insider leaks hint that Tracy Quartermaine may be paying Port Charles a visit soon, and the holidays would be a perfect time to do it!
Thanksgiving Is Next Week, But There’s Always Christmas
Thanksgiving may be a little soon to expect her, since there have been no confirmed sightings of Jane Elliot in the studio, but there’s always Christmas! It is not expected that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) will be with her this time, but Christmas is the time for surprises, so you just never know!
Tracy left Port Charles in 2017 bound for Europe, and bumped into Luke in a coffee shop; that is the last time General Hospital viewers have seen either one of them! There is a blind item about a return of a major star to one of the soaps, and this is in addition to Jane Elliot and may pertain to a different soap, but Tony could surprise us as well although the insider tip about Tracy is much more reliable.
Tracy Quartermaine First Appeared On General Hospital In 1978
Tracy Quartermaine is considered a General Hospital legacy character, having first appeared in 1978. She is the only daughter of Edward Quartermaine (most recently John Ingle) and Lila Morgan Quartermaine (Anna Lee). She has two sons, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Dillon Quartermaine (most recently Robert Palmer Watkins) and has been married six times; first to Larry Ashton (Hugo Napier), who was Ned’s father; Mitch Williams (Christopher Pennock); Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) who is Dillon’s father; mobster Gino Soleito (Al Martino); Luke Spencer twice; and Anthony Zacchara (Bruce Weitz).
It would seem that Miss Tracy certainly has a penchant for the bad boys! Jane reprised her role as Tracy Quartermaine on the defunct ABC soap “The City” which ran from 1995 through 1997. In 2017, Jane announced her retirement, as Tony Geary did also, and they both appeared last on May 4, 2017.
Tracy Quartermaine Is Famous For Stirring Up Family Trouble
Tracy is famous for stirring up family trouble, although she settled down a little bit towards the end of her stay in Port Charles.
The dysfunction between herself and her father Edward is legendary; a famous scene shows them embroiled in such an argument that Edward suffered a heart attack! He started out faking and then it became real, and he had disinherited Tracy in his will; before she could sign it, he collapsed on the floor and she refused to give him his heart medicine! Tracy also had him committed to Shadybrook Sanitarium in 2004 but Luke broke him out.
General Hospital viewers would be excited to see Tracy again, even if only for a short visit; stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers for the latest news, updates and developments!
