General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Was The Intended Target Of The Metrocourt Shooting?

General Hospital Spoilers indicate that everyone believes that either Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was the intended target of the shooting at the Metrocourt.

It seems that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was shot by a bullet that ricocheted instead of from a direct shot. What if that wasn’t the case? Could Curtis have been the intended target all along?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that even before Curtis was shot, Selina was trying to claim part of the Savoy. Curtis has allowed Selina to have her backroom poker game there for months.

Curtis also gets a cut from the games Selina holds there as well. This could certainly make Curtis a target of another mob organization. However, there could be another option altogether.

Suppose Selina was more upset than Curtis thought when he told her she had no say in what went on at his club.

Selina has offered to do several things for Curtis to make him beholden to her and he continues to turn her down.

Is Selina fed up with her advances being refused? Perhaps Selina is responsible for Curtis’ shooting because she thought he would be more cooperative if he was paralyzed.

GH Spoilers – Selina Wu Is Nobody’s Friend

Selina isn’t a friend to anyone. Selina has a deal with Sonny as well and is constantly trying to double-cross him.

Selina has even threatened to close the Savoy down because Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) refused to sell the club to her as well. Curtis even told Selina that they were not friends and she can’t refute that.

Curtis, nor his family have considered this possibility even now that Selina is throwing around her threats.

It is much easier to believe this was an accident than for Curtis to admit that he is in over his head with Selina. Perhaps Curtis should use those detective skills he learned years ago when he was a cop.

General Hospital Spoilers – It Is Much Easier To Blame Someone Else

Anna and Sonny automatically assumed that the shooter was after them. No one even thought of Curtis being a target.

However, did Curtis not just help disgrace the WSB by helping to stop Victor Cassaine (Charles Shaughnessy) in Greenland? Curtis also turned down the offer to work with the WSB when they approached him.

Curtis joined Anna on that mission as well. If Selina isn’t behind this, the WSB could have because Curtis may have gotten access to too much information while in Greenland.

Perhaps Selina is mixed up with the new director of the WSB. Could that gun have been used to throw everyone off the trail of the real shooter? Was Curtis the target after all?
