General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Decides – Will He Go Back With The PCPD?

General Hospital: Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will finally have an answer for Port Charles Chief of Detectives Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about his offer to rejoin the Port Charles Police Department in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Mac Scorpio Meets With Dante Falconeri At The Metro Court

General Hospital viewers will remember that Mac offered for Dante to rejoin the Port Charles Police Department nearly as soon as he arrived back in Port Charles. Dante wasn’t really sure about it and took a job as security for Peter August (Wes Ramsey) which of course Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) wanted him to take so he could keep an eye on him. She had intended for him to kill Peter at the double wedding of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in an attempt to protect Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) life from Peter.

But plans changed and of course, Liesl and Dante were not able to prevent Franco’s murder later on that night after the double wedding fell apart. Dante has never really followed up with Mac about coming back to the force, and now Mac is shorthanded with Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) having been poisoned with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) desperately trying to save his life. General Hospital viewers will recall that Mac has pretty much let Dante have his space since the explosion that destroyed Mac and Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) restaurant, the Floating Rib, along with the injury that put Lulu in in Spencer (Emme Rylan) in an indefinite coma. But months have passed, and the Port Charles Police Department needs more hands-on-deck so Mac and Dante meet at the Metro Court to talk about Dante coming back onboard.

GH  Spoilers – It’s Complicated

Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that Dante was a cop in Port Charles for quite a long time. He first came to Port Charles with an assignment to take down his birth father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) under the name Dominic Pirelli. Neither Dante nor Sonny knew they were father and son until Sonny shot Dante in front of Dante’s mother, Olivia Falconeri, now Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that dramatic and memorable scene, with Olivia screaming at Sonny that he had shot his own son! Mac will ask Dante about coming back on the force and Dante will explain that it’s more complicated than that.

Chances are, Dante is still concerned about the post-traumatic stress disorder that he was suffering from when he went into treatment with the WSB, even after having been given a clean bill of mental health by Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Another concern that Dante is likely to have is that he has a young son and stepdaughter to be concerned over, namely Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). It is bad enough that their mother is lost to them for all intents and purposes, since Lulu may never come out of her coma; Dante may not want to put them in a position where they could lose him too, especially in the case of Rocco!

Charlotte still has her birth father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) but if something happened to Dante, Rocco would have his grandmothers but no male father figure – unless Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) might step in and fill the gap. Mac will likely understand Dante’s need for more time to consider his offer, raising not only his stepdaughters, with one of them being killed by a criminal, but also his niece. Dante will get back to Mac after carefully considering his offer!

      He hasn't even be reinstated and yet he is going around acting like a JERK He arrest Spinelli when he has nothing on him.Now he is going to arrest Sam that's what I heard.Don't like this Dante he use to care about helping family and there love ones.And so far all he has done when Carly find out is aggreviate her even more. How does he even know he is even capable of doing this job anymore.The way he is behaving says he isn't
