When her boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), began questioning her true feelings towards Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), she was clear that she wanted Sonny to pay for his crimes.

However, Joss couldn’t help but think about the repercussions of Sonny’s inevitable downfall. As she explained the reality of a life attached to Sonny, she couldn’t help but feel guilt wash over her just thinking about her siblings and what their lives will be like with Sonny in prison for the rest of his.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been putting on a brave face lately. Despite her anger towards her ex-husband, when her back was against the wall and she needed help, it was Sonny who stepped up to the plate and bailed her out.

She tried to fight it but Carly couldn’t help but feel grateful toward him for helping to protect both her and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Soon, Carly will realize she always knew family came first with Sonny. Joss will be forced to swallow the same pill as she struggles to ignore her mom’s change in attitude toward the mob boss.

As Dex has continued on his journey with Sonny, he began to see a different side of Sonny — one that was loving and fiercely protective of his family. It was a side that no one had warned him about, especially not Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) or Joss.

When Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) revealed this truth to Dex, he couldn’t help but wonder if there was more to the story than what he had been told. Perhaps their own hurt and bitterness towards Sonny was clouding Michael’s and Joss’ judgment. Whatever the case may be, Dex knew that he needed to continue to keep his wits about him, because when it came to Sonny, there was always more than meets the eye.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Isn’t Going To Like This

Fortunately for Dex and Joss, Michael is also going to share their feelings. He’s been struggling with moving forward on this for months, and every time he feels himself pulling back, he just tries to remind himself of why he started this revenge game. However, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is going to point out to her husband just how unwise it is to keep living in the past and reliving Sonny’s mistakes in his mind.

He has to move forward, and that means he needs to drop his plans for revenge against Sonny. It’s going to be a breath of fresh air for Michael to hear Dex and Joss don’t want to see Sonny in prison either. The only problem is, Dex is now going to be stuck working in the mob.
