General Hospital Spoilers: Esme And Cam Plot Against Their Exes

General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is still suffering from amnesia, whether legitimately or otherwise. She came close to recalling Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) face, but it was likely only because he shares it with his sadistic identical twin brother, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), who is Esme’s birth father. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has spent the most time with Esme so far from what we can tell, and while Esme hasn’t claimed to remember Liz, she does seem to feel a certain comfort with her.

Perhaps Esme’s maternal instincts are telling her she can trust the nurse who was caring for her and her baby before all of this happened. It’s shaping up to look like Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) won’t jog Esme’s memory either, despite being the father of her child. So that begs the question: who is going to jog Esme’s memory? Word on the street is that it might be Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton), and her recollection of him could lead to the latest in Esme’s run of schemes against the people of Port Charles.

For one reason or another, it appears Cam is going to start spending time around Esme. He could be diversifying his interests at school, and that might land him in some kind of volunteer role at the hospital where Esme is currently being treated. However, she could bump into him somewhere like Kelly’s if she’s released from police custody and GH.

Either way, General Hospital spoilers show Esme and Cam are going to be circling one another right around the same time that Cam finds out Joss has moved on with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). He may even discover that Joss was “moving on” with Dex before she ever ended things with him.

Because Esme feels so connected to Elizabeth, she might also embrace Liz’s son, Cam, when he checks in on Esme. Cam was nice to Esme once upon a time, too — before she taped him having sex with his then-girlfriend, Joss. Cam gave Esme the benefit of the doubt when no one else would. Should she start to remember him as she finds relief from amnesia, she just might try to appeal to Cam’s bitterness and pain over Joss and imply they should find a way to get back at their exes once and for all. Joining forces could be the perfect emotional takedown.

General Hospital Spoilers — Starting Over

Cam and Esme would both benefit from a hook-up, even if it’s all for show. Just as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) have been hard at work trying to convince all of Port Charles — and The Hook — that they are a couple now, Esme and Cam could take a page from their book and tee up their own faux relationship to get back at Spencer and Joss. Although Esme remembers plenty, she could even blackmail Cam into this situation as she threatens to turn his mom into the PCPD if he doesn’t comply. That might make more sense than Cam intentionally hurting his cousin, Spencer, but we shouldn’t be quick to underestimate how Cam’s own heartbreak could weigh into all of this.
