General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Suspects He Might Be Chase’s Dad – Demands Answers From Jackie

General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will soon look to Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) for some answers in upcoming episodes of General Hospital. Could he be doubting Jackie’s timeline of Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) conception?

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine May Have Gotten Dr. Hamilton Finn To Thinking

General Hospital viewers will recall that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) caught up with Finn at General Hospital. Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Finn (Michael Easton) first came to Port Charles after Tracy had developed a case of brain worms after eating food from a foreign country while hanging out with one of her ex-husbands, Lord Larry Ashton (Hugo Napier). It was Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) who knew of Finn and his expertise in diagnosing and curing rare infectious diseases, and once Tracy was cured of her worms, they wormed their way into each other’s hearts as close friends.

As they caught up, Tracy was shocked to discover that Finn’s father, Dr. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) was married to Jackie and that she was Chase’s (Josh Swickard) mother! Tracy knew Jackie, although not well, back in the day. They would have been considered more of acquaintances than friends. The two friends talked at length about the double wedding that Finn had gotten himself maneuvered into with him and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) getting married at the same time in the same venue as Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Maxie had excitedly roped him into agreeing before he had had a chance to see how Anna felt about it!

He also talks about his discomfort with his father and Jackie, and how he should have done things differently. He wonders if he should just admit everything he did wrong but Tracy disagrees. However, it may get Finn to thinking if everything was out in the open, it would clear the air.

GH Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn Decides He Wants Answers From Jackie Templeton

Finn had also talked at length with Anna previously, about what happened between him and Jackie and the possibility that Chase could actually be his son instead of his much younger brother. He had told Anna that Jackie had convinced him that the timeline didn’t work out for Chase to be his son from their one night stand, but between his talks with Anna and Tracy, Finn may start doing some math on his own. He knows Chase’s birthdate – it was in July 1991.

Finn was born in January of 1972, making him around twenty-one years older than Chase, and Chase’s conception in October of 1990. Finn was just starting his medical career back then, in Boston, Massachusetts, and Jackie was covering him for a story she was doing. The two got closer and closer but during the same time period she met Gregory, not long after Finn’s mother Jean Finn (uncast) died and they started dating.

Finn never revealed his feelings for Jackie to her and she grew tired of his noncommittal ways and basically left Finn for his father! But the night before their wedding, Finn, a day late and a dollar short, finally told her, and they had sex. The more Finn thinks about the timeline of their one-night stand and Chase’s birth, the more he realizes it was way too close unless Chase was premature, and he has never been told that he was.

He goes to Jackie and asks some pointed questions about Chase as a baby – covering with how Gregory was reminded of Chase and himself as small children by Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). By the time he gets to questioning the timeline, which Jackie has always been vague about, she knows he suspects Chase might be his!
