General Hospital spoilers tease, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) recently sat down with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) at the Metro Court hotel restaurant, and the two ladies chatted about the very few things they have in common.

Gladys is always networking — in her own awkward way. She wants to fit into Port Charles society, but it rarely accepts her in the abrasive form she comes in. When Selina appears to welcome Gladya not only as a friend, but into her innermost circle of elite card players, Gladys is going to feel more special than she has in a very long time. If this sounds like a recipe for trouble, that’s because it is.

Gladys doesn’t have many friends in town. She loves having the company of others and talking their ears off about her son, her job at Deception, and how much money she’s managing for Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). In fact, she broached that very subject with Selina, and that was what provoked Ms. Wu to share news of her back room poker parties with Gladys.

When Selina mentioned to Gladys that this event wasn’t for just anyone and she should keep it to herself, it only made it sound all the more enticing to Gladys, who has always felt isolated from the cool kids’ table. Now that she has her own invite — secret password and all — what will she do with it?

GH Spoilers – Tease Sasha Gilmore Pushes Her Out The Door

Gladys knows she made it sound like Sasha’s money is her money when she was talking with Selina, but in reality, that’s not how this guardianship thing works. Sasha’s money is still Sasha’s and Gladys only has access to it as her proxy. She knows it would be wrong to take any of Sasha’s money without asking, and it may even be illegal.

Still, the offer sure is tempting. Gladys isn’t interested in attending this poker game as a means to gamble or make money. She wants to make friends with other people who have money and status. She wants to rub elbows with people she thinks are worth being seen with. Little does she know, that’s not the crowd Selina runs in. Nevertheless, when Gladys and Sasha get into a dispute about finances, Gladys will feel so tired of Sasha’s argumentative attitude, and she’ll luck out that the poker game just happens to be that night. What a reprieve it shall be!
