General Hospital Spoilers: Hayley Erin Returns To Popular Show

Hayley Erin, a former cast member of General Hospital, reprised her role as Brenda Feldman on “Modern Family.” The actress appeared on the show recently, on January 15, 2020, and played the character, which she first portrayed in the pilot that aired back in 2009.

In the episode, Phil visits his dad after hearing some concerning news about him. Jay hands over Claire and Mitch’s old memorabilia, which takes them to a walk down memory lane. They wind up thinking about their first family vacation.

Erin’s character, Brenda, was introduced as a sixteen-year-old girl who works at Fotofun. She cycles past Manny Delgado, who immediately falls in love with her. He then decides to pay her a visit to the mall where she’s working and reads her a poem, which he wrote.

Jay Pritchett, his father-in-law, tries to bribe him so he won’t profess his love for Brenda but it didn’t work. With some encouragement from his mother, Gloria Pritchett, he reads her the poem. Unfortunately, Brenda tells him that she already has a boyfriend, which leaves Manny heartbroken. She tries to make it up to him by giving Manny a framed picture of him as a cowboy.

GH News – Erin’s Career

Erin’s first acting role was on “Malcolm in the Middle,” way back in 2004. She also appeared in eight sketches on Fox’s “MADtv.” She guest-starred on “Emily’s Reason Why Not, The District, “Two and a Half Men, “NCIS,” and “Austin & Ally.”

The actress also portrayed the teenage Abby Newman on “The Young and the Restless” back in 2008. The character was previously played by Darcy Rose Byrnes. Erin exited the show in March 2010 since the show decided to age the character into an adult and Marcy Rylan was hired to play the part.

In January 15, Erin joined the cast of Kiki Jerome on “General Hospital.” She took over the role of Kristen Alderson. She was also part of the cast of Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” as Taylor Hotchkiss.

In 2018, she earned a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her work on General Hospital.” A year later, she bagged the award for the same category and for the same role.
