General Hospital Spoilers: Is Cody Really Mac’s Son?

General Hospital: Cody Bell (Josh Kelly)General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is a bit unnerved learning something about Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). He’ll find out that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) and Dominque Stanton (Shell Danielson) are his birth parents, but he and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) suspect there’s more to the story.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Son?

Mac and Felicia knew Dominque, and Mac knew her very well before her marriage to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). He and Dominque were involved when she was still in her abusive marriage to Taub, and he was the one who rescued her and brought her to Port Charles. Felicia was still married to Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) back then and she and Mac became involved later.

Felicia and Mac, as well as Scott and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) wonder why Dominque had never mentioned a son. Because of Cody’s age, and the timing of when he must have been conceived, Mac wonders if he’s really his biological son.

GH Spoilers – A Marriage Filled With Fear

Mac remembered Taub was the worst of the worst on General Hospital, and how frightened Dominque had been of her controlling husband. The more Mac remembers, the more he remembers how Taub was not the kind of man who would have hidden a son if he’d known he existed. The more he thinks about it and the more he looks at Cody, even though he sees a lot of Dominque in him, the more he wonders if he’s his. He knows that he and Felicia are both thinking the same thing, although they don’t come out and say it to each other just yet. Felicia questioned when he told Cody that he was merely a friend of his mother, and Mac said Cody has enough on his plate for now.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mac Scorpio Has Lots Of Questions

Understandably, Mac has a lot of questions although obviously, he can’t know anything for sure unless there was a paternity test done. But it’s not something he wants to approach Cody about just now, although it would certainly change things in both their lives were they to be proven father and son. It wasn’t that long ago that Mac and Felicia were actually talking about if they’d had a child of their own which led Mac to wonder if she was pregnant.

Mac wonders if finding out he has a son and Cody finding out Taub wasn’t his father would be a good thing or a bad thing for his family. Mac doesn’t know at this point, but eventually he and Felicia will need to address the tall, bearded elephant in the stable.

      Don’t care for the Cody character in any way. Perhaps he needs to be hooked up with BL as she just as much as a schemer as Cody. Cody never answers Britt when asked of his interest in her brother and father. Plus who when first getting to know someone would start ask questions about relatives like Peter and Faison? I feel there is much more to Cody than has been revealed. Even though Cody being Mac’s son makes more sense than Felicia’s son, wish writers would revel his true objectives. Tired of hearing about he and Dante in the good old days which also brings up questions. There are more questions about Cody than actual answers.
