General Hospital Spoilers: Is Nelle Benson The Hook?

General Hospital spoilers reveals aside from afterlife appearances with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) imagining her daughter was present with her, we last saw Nelle as she was running through the woods being chased by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). She then fell off a cliffside and we were told her body was found and she was indeed deceased. This kind of ending never means someone is truly dead in Port Charles, so anything can happen.

General Hospital Spoilers – Indicate Nelle Would Have Motive

The first victim, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) has a two-degree connection to Nelle. If Nelle is still alive, she is well aware by now that Nina is her birth mother, and that Nina loves her. But Nelle is far too motivated by revenge to let Nina’s love take precedence and bring her out into the light. Someone that is rarely mentioned is Nelle’s birth father — Silas Clay (Michael Easton), and he also fathered Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). Ava being Kiki’s mother and the only person still connected to her, Ava might have been a near casualty only because of her connection to Nelle’s biological dad. Might she want some quasi-vengeance against her half-sister, a girl who everyone thought was an amazing polar opposite of Nelle?

Furthermore, General Hospital spoilers say Ava is the mother of Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola), whose father is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). We all know how Nelle would feel about Sonny at this point.

The second victim, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), didn’t really know Nelle, but he’s family to Sonny and Michael. If Nelle’s intent at The Hook is to slowly take out everyone around the people she hates most before going after them, this is how she would do it.

The third victim was also close to the Corinthos family. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is their trusted attorney for all things civil, criminal, and family-related. She buried Nelle in court and would certainly be a target for revenge if Nelle had the chance to take out the woman who she believes cost Nelle her son, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). Diane did mention the attacked was a woman whose face she felt she had seen before. It’s possible that Nelle looks different now. Even a change as minor as hair color could throw Diane off when a dead woman is the last person she’s expecting to see.

The fourth victim does make less sense upfront, but Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) could have been targeted as means of making it look like someone else was responsible for the hookings. After all, Nelle would have many more people on her list before she was willing to call it quits on slaying half of Port Charles. Oz could have been a way to throw the PCPD off her scent, and make them sidestep their theory that the victims all shared a common trait of being connected to the Corinthos family.

GH Spoilers — Who Will Find Her First?

This can go one of two ways. Either someone who loves Nelle is going to discover she’s behind The Hook’s attacks or someone who hates her will. Obviously, Nina is the only person who loves Nelle. If she comes face to face with her daughter, she might think she’s having a break with reality. If someone who hates Nelle finds her first, they better hope they’re armed.
