General Hospital Spoilers: Jackie Shocked At Lulu’s Condition, Returns To Help Take Cyrus Down?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY it won’t be long before Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) returns to Port Charles. But Port Charles is a very different place than it was a few short weeks ago when she flew halfway across the world to cover an important story. But what will Jackie do when she gets back? As eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed, Jackie and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) exchanged strange looks right before she left while having dinner with her son, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Do Jackie (Kim Delaney) and Cyrus (Jeff Kober) already know each other? Could he have threatened Jackie’s family if she didn’t back off the story. That seems to be Cyrus’ normal method of operation. It’s possible that Cyrus has no idea who Jackie is but their quick glance seemed more than a coincidence especially since Jackie left town right after.

Jackie is a world-class journalist, and she’s likely been threatened before. She didn’t become such a powerful journalist by backing down. Even if she briefly considered walking away, Jackie will end up being more driven to finish what Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) started. Jackie once interviewed Laura Spencer (Genie Frances) back during Laura’s modeling days.

So it would make sense if Jackie touched base with Lulu’s mom. Look for Jackie to talk to Laura before she takes over the article. Laura may have reservations because it’s not known yet who the intended target of the bomb that destroyed the Floating Rib and severely injured Lulu. So she may caution Jackie that if she continues, she could be in Cyrus’ cross-hairs next.

But both Jackie and Laura know exactly how determined Lulu was to help expose Cyrus’ evil ways. But many Port Charles residents are working for the same goal, perhaps even working at cross purposes. Jackie should stay away from the actual danger and work on coordinating the efforts against Cyrus and making sure everyone is kept informed. It may not be easy to get Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on board, but jut hopefully that’s where Laura could come in handy!
