General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina’s Bus Accident Aftermath – Abby’s Job Shocks Carly – Spinelli’s Germy Blunder

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 9, tease that the ABC soap will deliver a fantastic encore, which was first shown on January 6, 2011. Many GH fans will want to rewatch this classic General Hospital episode, so here’s what you can look forward to.

First, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) talks to Theo Hoffman (Daniel Benzali) about the wrongful death lawsuit that Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are facing. Diane thinks it should be easy to prove Brenda shot Anton Banovic in self-defense, but Theo insists it’s not that simple due to Brenda and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) connection.

After Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) barges in and sneezes, Theo causes a fuss about the germs. He nearly takes himself off the case until Diane makes a convincing argument and promises to keep Spinelli out of his way.

General Hospital Spoilers: Patrick Upset He Can’t Save Ali

Over with Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), he’s upset since he wasn’t able to save Ali’s life following the bus accident. Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) points out that Ali didn’t have symptoms, so there was no way for Patrick to know her true condition ahead of time. Patrick appreciates Robin’s pep talk and eventually asks her out, which surprises her.

Although Robin’s tempted to accept Patrick’s offer and is quite flattered by it, she wants to proceed with caution. With that in mind, Robin urges Patrick to ask her out some other time. Lisa Niles (Brianna Brown) interrupts to ask Patrick about a case and seems pleased later when Terrell Jackson (Khary Payton) accepts a trial position at GH.

Terrell talks to Robin about Patrick and suggests he’s amazed by how they juggle marriage with work. Robin suddenly seems downcast and admits their separation. Terrell’s apologetic during a private chat with Patrick, but Patrick doesn’t blame him since he couldn’t have known.

GH Spoilers & Updates: Sonny Visits Kristina In The Hospital

Later, Lisa steals a moment alone with Terrell. She admits she called Terrell so he could seduce Robin. In Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Lexi Ainsworth) room, Sonny brings his daughter a stuffed bear and listens as she opens up about Ali’s death. Kristina blames herself, but Sonny’s got plenty of comforting words to share.

Sonny reflects on losing Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) and feels things will get better for Kristina in time. Although Sonny feels Kristina inherited Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) intelligence, he thinks his daughter’s like him emotionally.

Next, Morgan Corinthos (Aaron Sanders) grumbles about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) causing such a fuss over him, but Carly just wants to be sure nothing’s wrong except Morgan’s broken leg. After Morgan expresses his gratitude to Michael for saving his life, Michael and Carly leave so Morgan can rest.

Next, Carly hints that Michael may be interested in Abby Haver (Andrea Bogart) as more than a friend. Michael gets irritated over Carly’s judgmental attitude and suggests she won’t decide who he’s friends or more than friends with.

In unconscious Olivia Falconeri’s (Lisa LoCicero) room, Dante sits by her bedside and talks about what he’ll do when she wakes up. Lulu Spencer (Julie Marie Berman) feels there’s hope as long as Olivia’s breathing.

After Theo visits Morgan, he tracks down Dante and wants to ask him some questions about Anton’s shooting. Dante isn’t in the mood to offer answers – and Sonny backs him up. He feels like Dante’s too worried about Olivia to deal with Theo’s grilling session.

Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash) pays Olivia a brief visit and gets updates from Dante. Once Dante’s alone with Olivia, she awakens and gently touches his cheek. While Michael offers to buy Abby breakfast at Kelly’s, Carly speaks with Sonny about their connection. She’s afraid Abby just wants Michael for his money.

Sonny insists that isn’t the case since Abby has a job. When Sonny mentions Abby’s a dancer at a strip club, Carly’s floored.
