Now, she is back in India with the promise that Sumit was getting divorced. However, he still hasn’t shown her divorce papers and she is questioning his loyalty. Unfortunately, the lies would not stop there. When Jenny came to India the first time, Sumit had quit his job, was keeping a lot of secrets, and had a wife.

At one point, Sumit’s in-laws found out about Jenny. The father of Sumit’s wife came to the door and greeted Jenny, then explained that she was in love with a married man. Then, they took Sumit away and apparently dragged him back home to his spouse. Even though Jenny left India heartbroken, she would once again give him another chance.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ – Giving Up Everything Again

Even though Jenny should have waited for proof Sumit was getting a divorce before going back to India, she didn’t. For the second time, she has given up everything to be with him. She is even taking her retirement early, which includes financial penalties. She simply made him promise that he really was getting a divorce.

But things aren’t making sense. He claims that divorce takes a very long time in India. He said at first it would be a few months, then six months, what is it going to be next? Five years?

Sumit confessed that he is annoyed by Jenny constantly asking to see the divorce paperwork. But how else is she going to trust what he says? After all, he has lied to her so many times about everything. He eventually said that he would take her to the courthouse to show her where he is in the process.

Even though that made her a bit more comfortable, it is clear that the romance is strained. And will he actually do it or was it just more empty words to get out of the conversation?
