General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Supported, Obrecht Outraged; Willow Won’t Accept Bone Marrow?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will support Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) while Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is outraged. Might Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) well-fueled hatred towards her birth mother cause her to refuse Liesl’s matching bone marrow?

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Was Her Obstetrician

It would be strange if Willow opted to find a different bone marrow donor, considering she didn’t have a problem with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) being her obstetrician. She knows that Liesl was Britt’s mother and also Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) aunt, and if Liesl’s bone marrow is a viable option she should take it. There would have to be other reasons for her to turn it down beside their relation to each other – perhaps Liesl is attaching strings to her donation?

Liesl was playing hardball when she cornered Carly in that elevator, wanting her to influence Willow to accept Nina. Carly refused to do that, but she did get Liesl a visit with Willow that went reasonably well-perhaps because Britt was her daughter.

GH Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Wanted To Donate

It was in Liesl’s heart to donate bone marrow to Willow in hopes of saving Nina’s daughter since she was unable to save hers. Liesl is in deep grief over losing her Britta, especially since she too, had a terminal illness-Huntingtons’ Disease; if she were able to be Willow’s savior it would help. But if for some reason Willow were to reject her bone marrow if she is a perfect match, it would hurt Liesl but it would also make her very angry. But even though Liesl’s motivations were right her methods might be wrong- if she attached strings to her donation, in effect holding her marrow hostage Willow might reject it. With those kind of strings attached, not only Willow, but Carly, Michael and Josslyn would all support her decision, but they’d grieve.

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Won’t Work With Those Conditions

Even though Liesl is Willow’s last chance, she and her family won’t work with those conditions attached. Willow has that Reeves/Obrecht family trait of a stubborn iron will, that’s no doubt. She doesn’t have very much time left, not much at all, and yet they all band together to refuse Liesl’s bone marrow if she has to accept Nina as her mother.

Liesl is furious and hurt that Willow has been so corrupted by Carly and the Corinthos family that she doesn’t have a mind of her own. Does she think so little of her children that she’d continue to take her chances, chances she may never have-Nina intervenes, and gives up her rights to save her daughter’s life.
