General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle Married in Prison – What’s She Up To Now?

General Hosptial (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) won’t give up until she is free from Pentonville, even though she is nowhere near the end of her sentence. Her hearing with the parole didn’t go as she expected, and she was turned down. Her attorney, Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) told Nelle that she was lucky to even get a hearing this soon. But Nelle wasn’t satisfied with that answer and pressed Martin to find another way.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson admitted that she recently got married

Martin was surprised he discovered had recently changed her status from single to married on forms she had filled out while applying for her parole hearing. Nelle admitted that it was true, but that whoever she had married would have had no impact on her parole.

At this point, Marin was wondering aloud why he even continues to serve as Nelle’s attorney. After all, he is not even getting paid. That’s when Nelle dropped a bombshell, that she was sitting on a huge payday because of her new husband. But she had to be free in order to collect .

GH Spoilers – So did Nelle Benson marry?

There aren’t many options to consider. The most likely person would have the late “Shiloh” Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). That would exp0lain why Nelle said the her husband impact the parole hearing because he is dead. But Shiloh was broke, so what could this payoff be.

Viewers may remember that Shiloh had received ELQ shares from Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt). If Nelle married Shiloh, she would be entitled to those shares.. But Nelle may or not be aware that at some point, Oscar changed his mind and removed Shiloh from his will. Shiloh was planning to contest this, and threated to tie up the shares for years. Nelle would likely do the same. So is this the payout she mentioned?

General Hospital Spoilers – A long shot

General Hospital spoilers have teased that Spencer Cassadine ((last played by Nicholas Bechtel) is on his way back to Port Charles, and that he will be aged significantly. This is an out there theory, but could Spencer somehow have started writing Nelle in prison and made a secret trip to Port Charles to may Nelle for some reason. There is literally nothing to support this except for the promise of a big payout. A young adult Nicholas might absolutely believe that he is love with Nelle. And while this scenario is totally unlikely, it is possible.

GH Spoilers – A question remains

Let’s go back to the Shiloh theory for just a moment. Why would he agree to marry Nelle and share his payout with a total stranger. He had no idea he was going to die and although Shiloh liked to make a show about his “altruistic” ways, he had no reason to do anything at all for Nelle. Bur viewers may remember how easily gave up Wiley when he had to opportunity to take him. Why didn’t he take Wiley?

What if Nelle told him about t the baby swap and that he wasn’t Wiley’s true father. This information may have just been valuable enough to get Shiloh to marry Nelle; Perhaps he needed her help fighting for those shares because she knows all the parties so well.
