General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Vow To Nelle, She Won’t Let Carly Ruin Nelle’s Child Wiley’s Life

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will make a promise to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. She will likely talk to her at her grave and promise her that she will not let Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) ruin her child!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Made A Vow To Break A Family Tradition

General Hospital viewers will recall when Nina made a family pact with her cousin Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at the grave of “Jay”, her younger cousin Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) raised as her younger brother. She noted how her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) had given away her baby, Nelle, and her aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had given away Jay.

At least Liesl had good reasons – and she kept baby Jay in the family. Madeline sent Nelle away to strangers! Nina never even had a chance to hold her baby, who was born while she was in a coma! She never knew Nelle was her daughter until after she’d buried her. As the three women stood around Nathan’s grave and Nina tried to encourage Maxie, and stand by her choice to marry Peter August (Wes Ramsey), she may have thought how Peter was a giveaway child too.

She would have had to known, having been married to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who also was a giveaway child! Both Peter and Valentin were shuffled off to private schools as small children and never had loving homes. Perhaps that is why she makes excuses for Peter, and sometimes Valentin. She sees the little children inside them! But Nina made a vow – she would make sure no child in her family would ever be a giveaway child again.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Feels That Carly Corinthos Would Be A Toxic Influence Over Wiley Corinthos

Nina feels that Carly would be a toxic influence over her grandson, Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theodore Olson). Carly’s lies and vindictiveness could poison the little boy as he grows older. While Nina has no problem with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and would gladly work with him on either a visitation or possibly even a split custody arrangement, his mother would be a huge problem! Nelle may be gone, but Carly has already pointed out Nina’s past, when she first came to town. Nina was a schemer – she faked her paralysis, she induced labor in Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and she even kidnapped Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and ran off to Canada with her!

Carly merely pretends to care about Nina’s feelings as far as Nina has been concerned lately! Nelle only looked for affirmation from Carly, which she was never given – even though Nina admits she had a lot of her grandma Madeline in her! Nina is sure if she had not been in a coma and had the chance to raise her daughter, Nelle would have never turned out the way that she did. Nina is a firm believer in nuture versus nature! She simply does not believe that there are “demon seed babies!” Nina “tells” Nelle this, also, and how much she regrets that she didn’t know the truth sooner; and she vows to never let Carly Corinthos ruin Wiley!
