Sonny wonders if this meeting request is just a trap, considering that the last time Renault wanted to meet someone – the late Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) it was a setup, eventually leading to Taggert’s death at General Hospital when an unexpected blood clot went to his brain, according to Dr. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Nevertheless, he tells Renault he will meet him – but he will come prepared with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and some of his other men with eyes open and guns cocked!

Renault wouldn’t tell him what the meeting was about, just that he wanted to meet with him about “business”. Of course, he told Sonny to come by himself which put up a red flag for Sonny – there is no way he’s meeting Renault without backup! Sonny already told Renault when he first came to town that he was not doing business with him, and he knows that Renault wants to and has been running drugs through his territory, and Sonny won’t stand for that. Perhaps Sonny should plan to respond to Renault’s trap with a trap of his own!

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Has So Many Different Things On Different Plates He Can’t Tell Which End Is Up

Sonny is overwhelmed and Renault knows it. Sonny not only has too many things on his plate, he has many things on many plates and he’s trying to juggle them and maybe on the verge of dropping one of the plates! Renault may be trying to hit Sonny when he’s distracted and off his game. Sonny has the Mike Corbin (Max Gail) plate – his father is rapidly deteriorating and heading towards the final stage of his Alzheimer’s Disease if he’s not already there! He has the Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theodore Olson) plate, with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) fighting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for full custody, and he’s got the Cyrus Renault takedown plate!

Just how many plates can he juggle at the same time and maintain control over all of them? Plus he’s got to protect the rest of his family against Renault, and now Jason worries that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and the kids could be in danger as well — and why wouldn’t he?

Taggert’s daughter Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) was kidnapped and that led to the death of Taggert; Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) son TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was kidnapped and just recently released; Sonny figured out that Jordan had been blackmailed into working for Renault by TJ’s kidnapping but now, out in the open, Renault at least is vulnerable. The problem is – so is Sonny and he has to come up with a plan to be able to keep this meeting from turning into a trap!
