General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be in the hot seat-is someone onto his game?

Sonny recently planted some fake information about Pikeman and Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) which Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) took to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober); is Cyrus onto Sonny?

General Hospital Spoilers- Protection From Sonny Corinthos?

Protection for Sonny for Cyrus-maybe not so much, even though he told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) he did.

Perhaps he’s referring to Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) conversation with Book (Brad Schmidt) there in the visitation room that he no doubt noticed. This protection was actually for Drew but Book was told directly from Sonny via Dex to not make trouble for anyone so that would include Cyrus.

But Sonny has no idea that Cyrus is the boss that Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) are reporting to.

It seems that the “family” has switched leaders since originally it was a woman in Pautauk.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault’s Outside Sources Put The Pikeman Intel To The Test

Understandably, Cyrus might have his outside sources put the Pikeman intel to the test, and find out that it’s bogus.

That is when Austin, even though he wanted out of the arrangement, will tell him that Betty got it from Sonny’s place. If Cyrus only knew that what Sonny is after is Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) he might instruct Austin and Mason to deliver his nephew back to his mother.

It was a shock to Cyrus when Austin told him that he had saved Nikolas and put him on life support, he acted like he knew nothing about it.

Sonny is trying to protect the mother of one of his daughters, Ava Jerome (Maura West) from being blamed for Nikolas’ death and hoped the trail would lead to the body.

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Is Austin Gatlin-Holt Keeping Nikolas Cassadine’s Survival A Secret?

A huge question is why Austin has been keeping Nikolas’ survival a secret to begin with-especially since Mason is blackmailing her with what they know about the night he “died”.

Why would Cyrus want them to keep it a secret when Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is looking for her son? Chances are, it’s not Cyrus since he seemed out of the loop-it’s probably the female boss.

The female boss could still be pulling those strings because she would have an agenda against Ava.

Sonny might be indeed walking into a trap because it makes perfect sense for Ava’s sister Olivia Jerome, (Tonja Walker) to be working with-or against, as the case may be-Cyrus!
