General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer’s Guilt Will Lead Him To Rescue His Dad

General Hospital spoilers suggest Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) life has been pretty busy lately. He hasn’t had much time for deliberating on what happened to his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). He just assumed Nik skipped town when he realized Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was going to turn him in. That makes sense and aligns well with Nikolas’ character; it’s what Spencer would expect of him.

That’s all about to change though as his life slows down and he takes more time to think about the role he played in pushing his father out of his life — all on the heels of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) using Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as a pawn to take down his family. Spencer is going to feel far too guilty to let his father keep going with his life somewhere else thinking his son hates him.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price Gets Settled In

Esme is making good use of her time in Spencer’s orbit as she settles in at his grandmother’s place. Spencer has been staying at his uncle, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard), penthouse, but it looks like that may change now. He wants to be in close proximity to his little brother, and he knows the more time he spends taking care of Ace, the more comfortable Esme is likely to become with him being his permanent caretaker. This will come in handy down the road when Spencer plans to see to it that Esme is charged for her revenge porn crime all over again.

It’s not going to be as easy as Spencer had envisioned when he’s taking care of a newborn day and night. It also won’t be as easy as he predicted to keep hating Esme when she’s putting on such a good show that he’s tempted to believe she’s authentic. Esme is going to be the most endearing and loving mother to Spencer’s baby brother — the kind of mom he knows he grew up missing out on. The longer he is forced to see her doting on her son and giving him her all, the more he will turn against his original plan to cut Esme out of the equation.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Needs To Come Home

Ultimately, Spencer is going to realize that Ace is better off knowing at least one of his biological parents. Since his father is nowhere to be found, Esme is the only shot he has at that. To be honest, Esme will appear to be a better mother to Ace than Nikolas ever was to Spencer.

Still, Spencer isn’t going to feel right about trying to take custody away from Esme, but he won’t want to lose access to his brother either. This means Nikolas will have to come home and face the music — but can Spencer find him? Without much help from anyone else, he’s going to try. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
