General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, December 19 – Ava Confronts Nikolas – Charlotte’s Claim Causes Uproar – Nina Wants Answers From Obrecht

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, December 19, tease that things are really heating up on the ABC soap. But before we get to that, we have a programming note. Wednesday’s GH episode was preempted due to the televised impeachment debate in the US House of Representatives, so the episode that was supposed to air on Wednesday is now scheduled to air on Thursday. And we’ve got the scoop about what to expect on Thursday’s episode right here.

First off, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will find himself in an interesting position. He’s just come to the gallery after hours and encountered Ava Jerome (Maura West), who’s now holding him at gunpoint. Nikolas previously told Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that he had a contingency plan in place, and he might be thinking that Ava’s got the codicil in her possession…hence his little visit to the gallery.

Ava will taunt Nikolas a bit, with a gun in one hand and a martini in the other. She’ll note that she’s feeling much steadier than the last time he came to the gallery and she fainted. He’ll tell her that she doesn’t need the gun, but she’ll refuse to put it down. Ave will yell at Nikolas about where he’s been all this time, and he may need to give her (and the audience) some answers about that if he wants to get his hands on the codicil.

GH Spoilers– Nina Reeves Begs Liesl Obrecht For The Truth

Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will decide that it’s time for a talk with her aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). They’ll sit down for a chat, and Nina will implore her aunt to tell her the truth about something. It looks like they’ll be talking about the fake daughter scam and Liesl’s role in it.

Liesl will wonder if Nina is sure about something, so perhaps she’s considering telling the whole truth about how she altered the DNA test results to help Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) run his con. Of course, GH viewers know that Nina already knows that Valentin orchestrated the fake daughter scam involving Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), but she might still be hoping that Liesl wasn’t involved. Still, there’s got to be a part of Nina that knows that Liesl was probably involved in it, especially after what Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) overheard at The Floating Rib between Sasha and Liesl. We’ll see if Liesl spills the beans.

General Hospital Spoilers– Lulu Spencer Is Deeply Concerned About Charlotte

Other General Hospital spoilers indicate that Lulu will get the scoop from Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) claim that the man whose picture is on Lulu’s phone is her secret bodyguard. GH viewers know that the picture was of Nikolas, so that’s got Laura really worried about Charlotte.

On Thursday’s GH episode, Lulu, Laura, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will chat about Charlotte’s revelation at the Metro Court. Laura will want Kevin’s take on the whole thing, since she thinks that Charlotte could be experiencing PTSD from her kidnapping ordeal with Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck).

At any rate, during the conversation, Lulu will exclaim that she has to go talk with Valentin right now, which could be about her fears about Charlotte’s well-being. It could be that the conversation leads everyone to believe that someone might actually be endangering Charlotte – perhaps someone who resembles Nikolas. Elsewhere, Sasha will get a surprise. It looks like Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will still be gunning for Sasha to become the new face of Deception.

She’s shown in Thursday’s GH previews introducing Sasha to someone as the new face of Deception, and Sasha seems pretty taken aback by the whole thing. It might be a ploy to get Sasha to agree to the deal – we’ll see if it works.

GH Spoilers– Sonny Corinthos Wants Answers

Next, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will listen to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) complain about his recent frustrations with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). As GH viewers know, Sonny knows that Carly is keeping a big secret for Jax, and he can’t stand it. He’ll ask Jason if he’s heard anything from Carly about the matter, but it looks like Jason won’t know anything.

Perhaps Sonny will ask Jason to find out what’s going on. And finally, Carly will talk with Jax, and she’ll express her frustration with the secret they’re keeping about Nikolas. The whole thing is causing problems in her marriage to Sonny, and she’ll want Jax to put an end to the whole thing. She’ll even suggest that Jax turn Nikolas into the police. But Jax seems determined to keep his alliance with Nikolas going until New Year’s Eve – something that won’t make Carly very happy.
