General Hospital Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Resented Deep Digs

Previous episodes of GH revealed Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) resented the deep digs into his past. He figured out that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) only offered him a job to get a background check, and that his son requested it. Later, Drew called Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and told him the jig was up because Marshall knew what they did.

Curtis told Drew that his father’s life was full of lies, although he didn’t reveal where he got his proof. Curtis had made a deal with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to let her run her poker games at The Savoy in exchange for the goods on his father.

GH Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Gets The Proof

Curtis found out from Selina that his father was never in witness protection but she still owes him the police reports file. He will ask for what he’s owed in an upcoming episode and he will know where Marshall really was and what he did. Curtis is understandably resentful that his father would play dead for all those years and his family even had a funeral. If he had been in witness protection that would have provided some answers and understanding and proof he disappeared to keep them safe! But instead, Curtis will have confirmation everything his father’s said has been a lie!

General Hospital Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Was Evasive

Marshall was evasive about his past the whole time he’s been in Port Charles! He claimed to Curtis that he ran because he’d been involved with dangerous men and had to keep the family safe! Marshall even worried the threat was still out there and that was the reason for his secrecy!

Marshall’s evasiveness was the whole reason Curtis went to extremes to dig up his past, and even compromised to get the intel! If Marshall had been truthful, Curtis would never have made a deal with mob queen Selina to begin with!

GH Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Wants To Come Clean

Now that Curtis has compromised himself to get the truth about his father’s past from a mob queen Marshall wants to come clean! Undoubtedly this is a big decision for Marshall, but he doesn’t realize Curtis already knows the truth and it’s not pretty. Previous GH episodes revealed clues that he was following a protocol and also that Marshall is on bipolar medication. Marshall has a problem with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) but Sonny doesn’t have a problem with him. Curtis may think he has the whole truth but does he, really?

General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Says It’s Too Late

When Marshall tells Curtis he wants to come clean, Curtis will tell him it’s too late, going by his own assumptions. Curtis was the one who assumed Marshall was in witness protection, Marshall never said that and it gets ugly! Curtis assumes Marshall is just a lying liar who lies and proclaims he has the proof from the police reports!

Marshall, naturally is upset and tells Curtis he doesn’t understand and the police report doesn’t show the whole story. The two of them continue to argue and Marshall gives up and goes his way – at least his grandson accepts him!

    No! And I don’t blame Curtis one bit. If Marshall had come with a truly open heart and wanted to make amends with Curtis he should have been honest. Instead he’s been nothing but evasive and has lead Curtis to think he was in Witness Protection.
    And for Marshall to now also have the audacity to cop an attitude…really???
    Marshall has yet to tell him the truth about anything.
