General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, August 4: Nelle Explodes On Nina – Carly Finds Sonny in Despair – Jordan Warns Cyrus

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 4, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will defend her decision to go against Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) on the stand. GH fans know Nina caught Nelle off guard with her extremely negative testimony. Nina called Nelle a compulsive liar and argued that she only uses people, so things couldn’t have gone worse for Nelle!

Nelle just came to confront Nina about all the horrible comments she made in court, but Nina will think her assessment was fair. Since Nelle was under the impression that Nina would back her up, she’ll probably contend that Nina’s the liar here.

However, Nina will fire back that Nelle needs to get her facts straight. Nina only agreed to testify and try to help Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), which is what she did. As for that half-heart pendant necklace on the floor, Nelle may be too riled up to notice!

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will mull over a tough decision. When Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) comes home, she’ll find Sonny in despair as he wrestles with what to do. Mike Corbin (Max Gail) didn’t reveal his final wishes to Sonny – and now he’s too far gone to tell Sonny what he wants.

That leaves Sonny to make a choice about Mike’s end-of-life care, so it’s a difficult burden to bear. Sonny doesn’t have to bear it alone since Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are willing to support him, but only Sonny can make the decision for his father.

As for Jason, it seems he’ll have an emotional conversation with Carly in Tuesday’s episode. Jason will tell Carly that he knows it’s a lot to ask, but there’s nobody else who can do it. Whether they’re talking about Sonny’s choice or a favor that Jason needs, at least Jason and Carly can lean on each other.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will get a warning. Cyrus may think he’s running the show around Port Charles, but Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will make it clear that the road ahead won’t be easy. Although Cyrus is plotting big moves against Jordan, Cyrus and others in PC, Jordan will still think he should watch his back.

At the Metro Court, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will concentrate on a new tactic. Valentin believes he got through to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who was bribed to keep her mouth shut. Since Valentin’s willing to get Brook Lynn’s music career off the ground, he feels confident she won’t blow this for him.

Even so, Valentin needs to work fast and lock in this ELQ takeover. It looks like Valentin’s next strategy may tie in with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Sam will receive a visit from Valentin in the coming episodes, so this is probably about trying to secure the shares of Sam’s kids.

New General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn’s Tough Decision

In the meantime, Brook Lynn will have to decide whether she’s going to sacrifice her own happiness for the sake of her family’s company. Brook Lynn appeared ready to blab on Monday, but will she still feel the same in Tuesday’s episode?

Based on Tuesday’s preview, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will seemingly remain in the dark on who’s plotting the hostile takeover. He’ll speak to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about how they should find out who they’re dealing with. That suggests Ned will still be looking for answers about who’s targeting ELQ, so Brook Lynn may stay quiet for now.
