General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, January 8, tease that Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) will reel from the news that the clinical trial didn’t shrink his tumor. He’ll have to deal with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), who will visit him all excited and happy about something. But Oscar will have to break the news to Cameron that the clinical trial failed in its objective.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jax (Eden McCoy) will have a chat with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about Oscar’s condition. Josslyn will be devastated by the news about the clinical trial, and it looks like she’ll put her energies into finding an alternative treatment facility for Oscar. “If I can just get Oscar to one of these places, he’ll get better,” she’ll tell Carly.
Next, on the new GH episode on Tuesday, January 8, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will pay Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) a visit at the hospital. She’ll want to speak to Kim on behalf of Julian Jerome (William deVry) and make sure that Kim doesn’t have the mistaken idea that Julian slept with her. But with everything going on with Oscar, Kim won’t be interested in hearing from Alexis. “I don’t give a damn who Julian slept with,” Kim will say.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have a chat with Drew Cain (Billy Miller). She’ll want to fill him in on what she and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have discovered about Hank/Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and the manner in which he seems to be infiltrating the lives of people she cares about. Drew may welcome the conversation as a distraction from the Oscar situation, plus he may want to share what he gleaned from his brief interaction with Hank/Shiloh.

Finally, on Tuesday, January 8, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will be feeling anxious. He’ll have found out that Oscar’s treatment failed, and he’ll be rattled by the news. It will be just a little too close to home, and he’ll think about how he’d feel if it were one of Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) boys in the same position. He’ll break the news to a distraught Elizabeth.
