General Hospital Spoilers: Victor’s Plan For Spencer, From Beyond The Grave

General Hospital spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) helped save the world a few weeks ago he finally took down his evil uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Victor believed his purpose was the save the world by killing off much of the human race.

To that end, he had a deadly pathogen created and was prepared to release it to the world. Victor had hoped that Spencer would take his place by Victor’s side in a safe location while the pathogen worked its way across the planet.

But Spencer wanted nothing to do with his uncle’s mad scheme. Spencer ultimately fought back against his uncle and chased him back to the Haunter Star where the WSB sent a drone attack to end Victor’s threat once and for all.

With Victor’s death, the Cassadine family finally has a chance to redeem their name and make it stand for something good. Victor’s superiority complex led him down a dark path but perhaps the family still has a chance.

GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Wanted His Family United!

Victor truly believed he was saving the world from itself. Overpopulation of the planet will eventually cause the planet to use up the limited resources it has in order to sustain life. But committing genocide wasn’t the best way to make that happen. Victor wanted the Cassadine name to go down in history not as a force for evil but one that was willing to make difficult choices for the greater good.

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine May Still Get Ultimate Wish!

Spencer does possess some of the Cassadine family traits that led Victor down his dark path. But Spencer is also the grandson of Laura Collins (Genie Francis) who has spent her life trying to keep her children and grandchildren from following the footsteps that some of the more ruthless Cassadine family members have taken. Perhaps Spencer will finally find his purpose in life with Laura’s loving guidance. Instead of trying to reduce the population, perhaps Spencer can find ways to create new resources or technology to sustain life, rather than ending it.
