General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, April 8: Carly & Nelle Flashback Shocker, Major Secret Exposed – Joss & Willow’s Desperate Plans

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 8, tease that some shockers and shakeups are brewing. GH will deliver a special episode that’s all about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) – especially how her past ties in with Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier). General Hospital will have a bomb to drop before this episode’s over, but let’s talk about some other drama first.

At Crimson, Nelle will want Carly to admit she’s just like her. Naturally, Carly will balk at that idea. She doesn’t think she has anything in common with Nelle, although we’d say she’s wrong! Carly can be just as conniving as Nelle sometimes – like when she locked Nelle on the roof of GH and forged her signature. Both Nelle and Carly have proven they’ll do just about anything to get what they want.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly And Nelle Face Off

During Carly’s fierce faceoff with Nelle, they’ll get into an argument about Frank Benson. General Hospital fans will recall that Frank was supposedly Nelle’s biological father. He was also Carly’s adoptive father, so that’s part of her complicated history with Nelle.

Carly will rant about how Frank never gave her a dime or anything else for that matter. This should set up some crucial flashbacks, which will involve Young Nelle (Willa Rose) and Young Carly (Eden McCoy). Younger versions of Frank and Virginia Benson will also be played by James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) and Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves).

General Hospital spoilers say Young Carly will resent Young Nelle when she sees her with Frank. Since Frank wasn’t a good father to Carly, she’ll fume over him stepping up as a dad to Nelle. Of course, there wasn’t much to be jealous of since awful Frank sold Nelle’s kidney to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and lied about it.

Frank told Nelle that Carly was the one who offered money for Nelle’s kidney. He claimed Carly stiffed him on the payment, but Carly was never involved in Jax’s plan. Plus, Frank really did get the money. It’s not Jax’s fault Frank blew through it rapidly due to his gambling problem! The point is Frank was a terrible father to both Carly and Nelle, even if Carly tries to twist it.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina will fret over Carly poking the bear. She’ll tell Jax that Carly’s coming perilously close to harassing Nelle, so Jax will probably try to calm his ex down. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also seek Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) assistance on Wednesday. Since Joss will want Jason to stop Nelle, he’ll be curious about what Josslyn expects him to do.

Will Josslyn have some lethal scheme in mind? Everyone’s pretty desperate, so we wouldn’t be surprised! Across town, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be adamant that they have to do whatever it takes to keep Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) safe from Nelle.

General Hospital Spoilers: A Shocking Secret From The Past Revealed

Willow will voice her growing concerns to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) in Wednesday’s episode. It’ll be interesting to see the bold moves that are made in the coming weeks.

Speaking of bold moves, did Carly make a huge one in the past? That brings us to the bomb we mentioned. A major secret will be revealed that’s linked to Carly and Nelle’s history. It seems likely that’ll tie in with Nina’s biological daughter storyline – especially since Nina will admit she still feels her daughter out there. Everything should be coming together in Wednesday’s episode.

Did resentful Carly swipe Nelle’s necklace when she was younger? Is that what’ll be revealed in the flashbacks? Time will tell, but it’ll be a great show no matter what!
