Elsewhere, his wife, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will counsel Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on matters close to home.

General Hospital Spoilers for Wednesday, October 12 indicate Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) delivers an impassioned and heartfelt speech to the Jacksonville City Council. Walking into the room armed with classic Carly confidence, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will question if Carly is ready, to which she’ll tell him the real question is, “are they ready for me?”

Carly will plead her case and ask that they refuse to permit the Jacksonville Beautification Guild to demolish the cemetery where Virginia Benson (Lois Nettleton) is buried just to put up a parkway for traffic.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome And Sonny Corinthos Connect, As Friends

Sonny has tried his best to mend fences with his eldest son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). He knows Michael has grown resentful of him ever since his return from Nixon Falls, and Michael doesn’t accept Sonny’s relationship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), nor the way Sonny treated his family in favor of Nina.

Who could understand Sonny better right now than Ava — mother to his child who has also struggled with having her late daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) cut ties with her and betray her?

Ava will offer Sonny some friendly advice on how to handle his relationships, but Sonny is convinced there is nothing he can do to change Michael’s mind.

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Jacks Confronts Dex Heller; Clears The Air With Cam Webber

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has felt the pressure of knowing where her loyalty lies in recent weeks. She loves Cameron Webber (William Lipton) — her boyfriend and longtime dearest friend.

She would never want to hurt him. But the attraction she has to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is becoming undeniable. She’s going to confront Dex on Wednesday, October 12.

More recently, Dex has pushed Joss away upon orders from Michael to steer clear of her, but Joss won’t be so easily dismissed. She knows something is going on with her brother and Dex, and she’s insistent upon figuring out what it is, even if Cam doesn’t like her budding friendship with Sonny’s enforcer — which he may mention.

This Wednesday, it’s going to become clear Joss and Cam have a problem. Michael is going to agree with Cam that Joss should stay far away from Dex.

GH Spoilers – Esme Prince Pulls A Trump Card, But Nikolas Cassadine Gets the Upper Hand

When Esme shows up at Wyndemere, Nikolas will be stopped in his tracks and utterly stunned.

The sinister seductress is going to attempt to weasel her way back into the Cassadine inner circle, playing off of what she thinks Nikolas fears. But he just may surprise her with his own form of ammunition.

General Hospital Spoilers — Lucy Coe Treads Too Far With Victor Cassadine

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has been enjoying flirting with the deceptive side of her personality once again. While Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) lured her into their plan by nothing short of blackmail, she’s not exactly unhappy about it.

That being said, Lucy might find herself in a bit too deep on Wednesday, October 12, and Anna and Valentin may be powerless to do anything but bite their nails and hope she gets out in time.

General Hospital Spoilers — October 12 — Michael Corinthos And Dex Heller  Reconvene

It looks like Dex was right to convince Michael there was no time for giving up on the plan to take Sonny down. Since Sonny came to Michael trying to find a middle ground and reconcile their differences enough to keep the peace, Michael now realizes Sonny is worried his son is onto him and his less-than-peaceful business practices.

As Michael and Dex analyze what their next step should be, Michael will tell him just how well he knows his father and that they’ve got him right where they want him.

      I can not wait for the Public take down of Michael. He is far worse than Sonny ever was and maybe even Carly too!

      It’s disgusting to see Sonny behaving like this. And the way he treated Michael yesterday was appalling. He’s only interested for his own sake and seems to refuse to see things through Michael’s eyes because he might understand where Michael is coming from. Sonny should have told Nina to walk away when he saw the effect her coming in had. It seemed he was starting to get through to Michael until psycho Nina came back.
      We saw how quickly Sonny gave up. Sonny isn’t putting much effort into anything pertaining to reuniting with his family/children. Sonny is the one who did the damage (with Nina’s help of course), Sonny turned his back on his entire family and chose the side, of a ‘home-wrecker’ Nina!
      It would be nice to see Sonny actually put forth an REAL effort to make amends with Michel. Nina needs to back off. Yesterday at the funeral for Brando she was so far up his …..you know what…..even Carly, who was his wife, never hung on him like Nina does.
      Until Nina faces some consequences for her behavior and the damage she has caused there is no redemption for her. She’s disgusting and such a horrible match for Sonny. It’s cringeworthy to watch because they have no chemistry and it always looks fake and forced.

        I absolutely agree, Sonny used to be all about family he would have never sided with Nina. I thought that maybe he was experiencing a manic episode and he was but he got back on his meds and still persued the woman who went to his “funeral” and watched his family grieve and then went back to Nixon Falls, and the woman who literally cut his baby out of Ava’s stomach and took her. Ava even forgave her, even though she left her for dead. Nina should be in prison. The best thing that could happen is if Nina leaves Sonny for Valentin or someone else.
