General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin’s Family History
According to the General Hospital spoilers, Mason’s family history popped up. The user shepherdpal asked on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Do we know who Mason’s parents are?” Mason is related to Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). The two are cousins on Austin’s father’s side of the family.
Some wonder if Mason would be a Quartermaine. Maybe Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could be Austin’s father.
The user also wondered if Mason is related to Martin Grey (Tad E. Knight), but Martin doesn’t know it yet. The GH fans took to the thread to speculate on Mason’s parents.
One user noted: “Mason is a Gatlin, ie related to Austin via his mother Charity Gatlin.” Another responded: “Via marriage, which means they aren’t actually cousins.”
A third chimed in, writing: “I don’t remember it being via marriage. He’s a Gatlin so my presumption is that his dad is Charity’s brother.”
There are very little details about Mason’s history. The General Hospital fandom wiki reveals that Austin is his cousin and his brother is Jonah Gatlin (Scott Curtis). The writers could still be fleshing out Mason’s story and will share more details about his family life in the near future.
GH Spoilers – Who Is Mason Gatlin’s Father?
The General Hospital spoilers suggest who is Mason’s father. One fan jokingly wrote: “Mason’s dad is one of the Gatlin brothers.
When their songs stopped being hits they moved to Pautuck and embraced a life of crime.” Another added: “The devil and his wife,” to which Grey himself responded: “Hahahhaha. How did you know?!?.”
A third fan seriously speculated: “Mason’s dad is either Cyrus or Martin. I think somehow Austin’s mom is also Cyrus’s sister. Mason is Cyrus’s son or Martin’s son and Austin’s cousin.”

This has made for a complicated and confusing family web. Some General Hospital fans are wrapping their heads over the family dynamics.
However, some have a feeling that Mason will be leaving the show since Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) filmed her final scenes on the soap.

Mason and Austin may be brothers and raised as cousins. The writers would have us believe that Cyrus is Austin’s son by virtue of the statement Austin made about his mother liking Cyrus and Cyrus making her happy and Cyrus spending a good deal of time with her.—-Aside from this who was Mason talking to at the outside of the prison and highly respecting the person he is talking to—-Too many questions and none oif them being answered—Time for the writers to reveal what is going on as they are all connected to Pikeman (Cyrus?) and we know how much he hates Sonny and Austin, Betty and Mason have to get information on Sonny to manipulate Sonny or to bring the mob kingpin down so that they can move in and take charge of Port Charles so that they have water access to bring in their goods
I really don’t have any idea who Mason’s parents are or how he is connected to this horribly fabricated story line that becomes more puzzling daily and not in a good way. What about instead of creating more questions let’s rid canvas of all the Pawtuck gang and move on. Just my opinion.
