General Hospital Spoilers: Will Sasha Forgive Gladys When the Truth Comes Out?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) is currently oblivious to what her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), has been up to. Swindling Sasha out of every dime she has earned, Gladys has been enjoying the fruits of Sasha’s labor while gambling away her fortune.

General Hospital spoilers show Sasha won’t listen to reason, not even when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) urged her not to trust her late husband’s mother. He has good reason for saying such, but Sasha is completely closed off to the idea that Gladys would ever betray her or do anything to harm her. That is doomed to change soon, and fans are starting to wonder what the future will hold for both Sasha and Gladys — if they don’t have each other anymore.

It’s only a matter of time before Gladys’ antics come to light. Sonny is starting to grow suspicious about the time Gladys has been spending with Selena Wu (Lydia Look). Nothing good can come from that and he knows it. This reeks of the time that she sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage out from under his own wife. Speaking of Sasha, what would she do if she knew Gladys was blowing through her bank account? As the truth comes to light, Sasha may struggle with what to do, and how to proceed with the only relative she has left.

GH Spoilers – Hint They Need Each Other

Ultimately, Sasha and Gladys have to come back together again. They need each other more than anyone else in Port Charles. After all, they are the only family they really have left, absent Sonny. Sasha has no family of her own, and since losing her husband, his mother is her only tie to him. Losing her son, Liam Mike, was something that nearly drove Sasha to the brink. Likewise, Gladys understands what it feels like to lose a son as well. They are bonded over their shared traumas and it may help them to see eye to eye. And let’s be honest, these two don’t really have a storyline without playing off of one another.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Gilmore Corbin Should Understand More Than Anyone

If we’re being realistic, Sasha should understand what Gladys has been going through. Sure, she might’ve lost tens of thousands of dollars — if not more — but Gladys hasn’t been coping well with the loss of her own child. She may have hid it well, but being the sole supporter for Sasha during this time didn’t afford her much time to take care of herself. Sasha may wrestle with guilt over that for some time. Nonetheless, Gladys‘ gambling addiction will be no different than Sasha‘s addiction problems, in Sasha‘s eyes. Will she be able to forgive Gladys? Rumor has it, yes.
