Great American Family recently announced that production has begun on a new, original Christmas movie. Candace Cameron Bure Presents: Christmas on Candy Cane Lane stars Andrea Barber and Dan Payne. Moreover, the movie will premiere on the network this coming holiday.

Cameron Bure Presents: Christmas On Candy Cane Lane

The new movie Cameron Bure Presents: Christmas On Candy Cane Lane is Bure’s second Christmas project with Great American media for the coming season. Meanwhile, the movie is the first produced under the banner Candace Cameron Bure Presents. Moreover, it is developed as part of her Candy Rock Entertainment venture.

Starring Andrea Barber (Full House, Fuller House) and Dan Payne (Virgin River) the movie will form part of Great American Christmas, the network’s festive programming event. Moreover, the event returns on October 21, with a series of original holiday movies every Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, Christmas movies will air all day and all night through the end of 2022.

Plot of the holiday movie

As per the press release, the plot of Candace Cameron Bure Presents: Christmas on Candy Cane Lane sees Ivy Donaldson (Barber) going through a transition in her life. She is separated from her husband, Rob (Payne) and is putting on a brave face for her daughter. However, Ivy also struggles with the long shadow cast by her late mother, Muriel, the darling of Icicle Falls. She is also head of the Candy Cane Lane Lights Extravaganza and is the owner of The Christmas Haus. Moreover, Muriel is also a former TV star known

 Ivy Donaldson (Barber) is going through a transition in her life. Separated from her husband, Rob (Payne), and putting on a brave face for her daughter, Ivy also struggles with the long shadow cast by her late mother, Muriel, the darling of Icicle Falls; head of the Candy Cane Lane Lights Extravaganza, owner of The Christmas Haus, and a former TV star known lovingly as the “Christmas Maven.”

In fact, her mother’s shoes seem too big to fill. When obstacles come to a peak for Ivy, a series of comical and mysterious events bring neighbors of Icicle Falls, including Ivy’s whole family, together in a masterstroke of perfection only the “Christmas Maven” herself could appreciate.

So far, no other cast has been announced by Great American family, but the screenplay is based on the novel Christmas on Candy Cane Lane by Sheila Roberts.
