It looks like Cameron Mathison and Candace Cameron Bure are reuniting for another Great American Family (GAF) movie, and it’ll be a sequel this time around! Learn more about the next project they are working on, down below!

Candace Cameron Bure – Shares Next GAF Movie Project With Cameron Mathison On Social Media!

The GAF network had a Facebook Live Event this past Tuesday, January 21, and Cameron Mathison hosted it, along with Candace Cameron Bure, and GAF CEO, Bill Abbott.

The three shared a ton of interesting news about the network, including the premiere date for When Hope Calls, which is taking place in April 2025, as well as a new sequel project that Mathison and Cameron Bure are set to star in.

Home Sweet Christmas, which debuted during the 2024 Thanksgiving weekend, will be getting a “part 2”, and both Bure and Mathison shared how great it was to work together.

Despite both working with Hallmark and GAF in the past, Home Sweet Christmas marked the first time they collaborated on a project together.

It’s important to note that the sequel has yet to go into production but will likely start filming by the end of the summer 2025.

Fans can expect the premiere date for Home Sweet Christmas’s sequel to be announced sometime in September of this year when the rest of GAF’s Christmas movie lineup will be shared.

Both Mathison and Bure shared that Home Sweet Christmas is the first sequel for both of them.

Even though Cameron once starred with Alison Sweeney in Hallmark’s Murder She Baked/Hannah Swensen Mysteries, as well as close to 20 Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, this is the first non-mystery flick she’s doing a sequel for.

In addition, Bure started the online event with a prayer and later revealed that she and Cameron went to church recently for the first time. Fellow GAF star, Danica McKellar, also shared a special moment noting that Candace gave her, her first Bible, ever.
