Great American Autumn Brings Brand-New Movies In The Fall

While it’s still a hot, steamy summer, Great American Family is looking ahead to the fall of 2023. The network has announced its new Great American Autumn lineup of movies, starring Trevor Donovan, Danica McKellar, Jessica Lowndes and more.
The programming event kicks off on September 2 on Hallmark’s competitor. Read on to find out about the new movies coming on every Saturday between September 2 and October 14, 2023.
1. Learning to Love
Cast: Ina Barrón and Philip Boyd
Premiere date: Saturday, September 2, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: After his wife passes away, Harry (Boyd) and his daughters lose faith. However, they hire a nanny and Harry is pleasantly surprised when Steph (Barrón) brings never-ending warmth, faith and positivity back into the family home.
2. Love Can Surprise You
Cast: Camilla Belle and David Lafontaine
Premiere date: Saturday, September 9, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: Carina (Belle) writes a popular romance relationship column and is considered an expert in her field. However, when her boyfriend breaks up with her, on the night she thought he would propose, she starts questioning whether she knows anything about love.
Meanwhile, when Carina gets a new writing partner, Liam Snyder (Lafontaine), he ends up helping Carina to rewrite her own love story.
3. Craft Me a Romance
Cast: Jodie Sweetin and Brent Bailey
Premiere date: Saturday, September 16, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: Nicole Borden (Sweetin) is the owner of a quaint arts and crafts store, The Crafty Companion. However, she is given an ultimatum by the owner of Mitchell’s Art and Craft Supplies (Bailey) who stays she must either sell her store or be forced out of business.
4. Haven’t Met Yet
Cast: Merritt Patterson and Joshua Sasse
Premiere date: Saturday, September 23, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: Lucy Marks (Patterson) is a professional matchmaker, but when she meets a handsome businessman (Sasse), she experiences the spark of love for the first time. However, her hopes are dashed after she finds out he is her next client.
5. A Harvest Homecoming
Cast: Drew Granger and Trevor Donovan
Premiere date: Saturday, September 30, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: Drew Granger (Donovan) is a teacher, who takes on a temporary substitute job in his hometown of Chestnut Hollow, Texas.
Here, he meets Aiden, a new kid at the school, who is desperate for a caring friend. However, while he would rather take a job elsewhere, Drew reconsiders Chestnut Hollow after he meets Lainie Abbott (Lowndes), the new manager of his parents’ apple orchard and cider business. More importantly, it turns out she is Aiden’s mom.
6. Swing Into Romance, at 8 pm ET/PT
Cast: Danica McKellar, David Hayden-Jones and Gleb Savchenko
Premiere date: Saturday, October 7, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: Christine Sims (McKellar) is a former dancer who temporarily returns to her hometown for its fall festival.
However, she soon discovers that her family’s general store is in trouble. While making efforts to save their business, Christine will have to get out her dancing shoes again, face her former fiancé (Hayden Jones) and maybe find love along the way.
7. Mystery By The Book
Cast: Alicia Dea Josipovic and Corey Sevier
Premiere date: Saturday, October 14, at 8 pm ET/PT
Plot: A bookstore owner (Sevier) is in a complicated relationship with a book cover model (Josipovic). However, things change when an antique key is found in a false book that unlocks their romance.
