Great American Summer is on the way with eight new movies coming from Great American Family. It’s time to curl up on the couch with popcorn and an icy cold beverage and binge the upcoming new releases from Great American Family. Among the stars, you can expect to see fan favorites, like Trevor Donovan, Danica McKellar, Jessica Lowndes and more. Read on for a brief introduction into the eight new movies coming in the network’s first Great American Summer programming event.

Romance in the Vineyard

Cast: Susie Abromeit, Tim Ross

Premiere date: Saturday, August 5 at 8 pm ET

Plot: A smooth-talking salesman (Ross), tries to convince the owners of a family vineyard to sell their property. However, things get complicated when he gets pulled into helping the family’s granddaughter (Abromeit) to create a new blend to save the winery.

Love on Repeat

Cast: Jen Lilley, Andrew Lawrence

Premiere Date: Monday, August 7 at 8 pm ET

Plot: In what sounds a little like Groundhog Day, an architect named Amber (Lilley) finds herself in limbo, re-living the same day over and over again. She then attempts to make changes to her personal and professional life to save her from the cycle.

Unlikely Angel

Cast: Jillian Murray, Aaron Mees

Premiere date: Saturday, August 12 at 8 pm ET

Plot: Janie (Murray) may be a power player in the boardroom, but at home, she is falling apart at the thought of becoming a new mom. However, a silent prayer is answered when an unlikely angel intervenes and fast-forwards her life so she can learn to Trust God and her purpose. Meanwhile, Unlikely Angel is an original Pure Flix movie, premiering on Great American Family.

Wedding Cake Dreams

Cast: Donna Benedicto, Markian Tarasuik

Premiere date: Monday, August 14 at 8 pm ET

Plot: When she was small, Carrie Watson (Benedicto) placed a slice of wedding cake under her pillow, as her mother told her this would make her love dream come true. Fast forward two decades and Carrie is shocked to find out the man she had dreamed about was attending her younger sister’s wedding.

Summertime Soulmates

Cast: Jenna Michno, Christian Howard

Plot: A conventional art curator (Michno) is facing a financial crisis, but works with an avant-garde artist (Howard) to develop an unconventional exhibit.

Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters

Cast: Robyn Lively, Bart Johnson

Premiere date: Monday, August 21 at 8 pm ET

Plot: This Pure Flix original movie is inspired by the book of the same name. The story tells of a wealthy businessman (Johnson), shocked to find out his eldest daughter (Alexander) has suddenly become engaged to a missionary. However, when he makes it his aim to keep her closer to home, his efforts go awry and he is forced to reconsider what being a strong father truly means.

Dream Wedding

Cast: Rebecca Dalton, Jesse Hutch

Premiere date: Saturday, August 26 at 8 pm ET

Plot: Kate (Dalton) and Megan (Christa Taylor Brown) are sisters who attend a local wedding fair. Just for fun, they enter Kate in a raffle to win a dream wedding package, even though she currently has no plans to marry. When she wins, the sisters have to put on a show or be embarrassed by a joke that has gone awry.

Learning to Love

Cast: Ina Barrón, Philip Boyd

Premiere date: Saturday, September 2 at 8 pm ET

Plot: Harry (Boyd) and his two daughters lose faith after the passing of his wife and their mother. However, when the family hires a nanny, they are pleasantly surprised as Steph (Barrón) brings endless warmth, positivity and faith into their home.
