Trailer Released For When Hope Calls Season 2 On Great American Family

It has been a while since When Hope Calls, the sequel to the popular When Calls the Heart, first premiered on Hallmark on Hallmark Movies Now (now Hallmark+) in 2019.

With its change of streaming platform to Great American Family, fans never realized how long it would take for season 2 to arrive.

However, fans can now celebrate as the second season is set to premiere in April 2025. What can fans expect from season 2?

When Hope Calls drops trailer for season 2 on Great American Family

Season 2 of When Hope Calls is set to reveal Nora Anderson (Cindy Busby), an out-of-town lawyer arriving in Brookfield, led by an unexpected family connection. Meanwhile, the town welcomes Nora, along with a new Mountie, Michael “Fearless” Fletcher, played by Christopher Russell. Michael is filling in for Mountie Gabriel (RJ Hatanaka), while he is away on assignment.

Moreover, Sam (Jon McLaren) returns to Brookfield from prospecting for gold a changed man. He meets Maggie’s (Hanneke Talbot) parents, who are in town to visit. Lillian (Morgan Kohan) has been caring for the orphanage alone after her sister, Grace (Jocelyn Hudon) decided to stay in London to open an orphanage there with her husband, Chuck (Greg Hovanessian). She originally traveled to London while escorting one of their orphans to reunite with her grandfather. When Lillian receives a letter from Gabriel, she is torn between her long-distance love and her ongoing duty to the orphans in Brookfield.

Meanwhile, Tess (Wendy Crewson) has a new foal on her land that goes missing. She searches with the help of her brother-in-law, Ronnie (Neil Crone), the owner of the town’s only hotel and not a rancher. While new to the town, Hannah Lawrence (Sarah Fisher), tries to run her late Uncle Ray’s sprawling ranch with the help of Wyatt (Nick Bateman), who oversees the ranch’s day-to-day.

When does When Hope Calls season 2 premiere on Great American Family?

According to Parade, the premiere of season 2 of When Hope Calls streams on Pure Flix starting Thursday, April 3, and will be available for viewing on Great American Family on Sunday, April 6, at 8 pm ET. New episodes will drop weekly on Sundays, at 8 pm ET.
