What Movies Are Coming To Great American Family In September & October?

Hallmark’s biggest rival feel-good channel Great American Family continues to produce similar fare for September and October 2023. As fans know, a number of Hallmark’s stars jumped ship to join its former CEO, Bill Abbott and several can be seen in the upcoming lineup. Read on to find out what to watch during the balance of September and the first half of October.

One Perfect Match

Stars: Merritt Patterson and Joshua Sasse

Premieres: Saturday, September 16, at 8 pm ET.

Plot:

According to the official IMDb page for the movie, the story follows professional matchmaker, Lucy Marks (Patterson) as she meets a handsome businessman Finn Grayson (Sasse). She immediately feels a spark, but this is soon ruined by the fact that he is her newest client.

Other cast includes Lynn Gilmartin and Paige, Meg Fraser as Ella and Callan Colley as Landon. Meanwhile, Charlotte Chimes starts as Molly, Alison McKenzie as Mae and John Harding plays the role of Colin.

Craft Me a Romance

Stars: Jodie Sweetin and Brent Bailey

Premieres: Saturday, September 23, at 8 pm ET.

Plot: 

According to IMDb, Nicole Borden (Sweetin) is the owner of a quaint arts and crafts store, The Crafty Companion. However, she is faced with an ultimatum when the owner of Mitchell’s Art and Craft Supplies, Mathew (Bailey) threatens her that she must either sell her store or be forced out of business.

Other cast members include Maxwell Caulfield as Alfred, Julie Brown as Alison Garland, J.P. Manoux as Lloyd and Michael Patrick Lane as Eric. Meanwhile, Michael Perl plays the role of Luke, DonnaKelli Barnet plays herself as a craft buyer and Andrea Susan Bush is in the role of Angela.

Moreover, Audrey Looye plays Judith Worth, Laura Long plays Sarah, Kita Harrison Golden plays Christine and Stephen Wu in the role of Jason.

A Harvest Homecoming

Stars: Jessica Lowndes and Trevor Donovan

Premieres: Saturday, September 30, at 8 pm ET.

Plot:

Drew Granger (Donovan) is a teacher who accepts a temporary substitute job in his hometown of Chestnut Hollow, Texas. There he meets Aiden (Luxton Handspiker), the proverbial new kid at school, desperately looking for a caring friend. However, while Drew could have taken a job anywhere, he reconsiders Chestnut Hollow after he meets Lainie Abbott (Lowndes), the manager of his family’s apple orchard and cider mill, and more importantly, Aiden’s mom.

Swing Into Romance

Plot:

Swing Into Romance follows former dancer, Christine Sims (McKellar) as she temporarily returns to her hometown for its Fall Festival. Once there, she finds out her family’s General Store is in trouble. In order to save the family business, Christine will need to don her dancing shoes one more time, face her former fiancé and maybe even find love in the process (Hayden-Jones). Mystery By The Book

Plot:

Mystery By The Book follows a bookstore owner (Sevier), who is in a complicated relationship with a book cover model (Josuipovic). However, things change when an antique key is found in a false book that unlocks their romance.
