Alison Sweeney & Luke Macfarlane Visit A Magical Christmas Village on Hallmark

As part of Hallmark Channels’ beloved annual Countdown to Christmas programming event, some of our favorite stars head to A Magical Christmas Village. In fact, Alison Sweeney and Luke Macfarlane are starring along with a special guest star, Marlo Thomas. Meanwhile, the movie is set to premiere on Friday, November 4. A Magical Christmas Village on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, Summer (Alison Sweeney) is an architect raising her young daughter, Chloe (Maesa Nicholson) in a small town. Meanwhile, when her mother Vivian (Marlo Thomas) finds herself in need of a place to stay, Summer finds her orderly life becoming a little less so after inviting Vivian to move in with them during the transition.

Upon arriving at Summer and Chloe’s home, Vivian sets up an heirloom, a beautiful miniature Christmas village resembling their town. She tells her granddaughter that the village grants Christmas wishes. Meanwhile, as Chloe starts setting up the village and figurines, real-life events seem to mimic the scenes she is creating. This even included Summer’s chance meeting with Ryan (Luke Macfarlane), a newcomer to their community.

Summer and Ryan quickly discover they share a lot in common and as they spend more time together, Ryan slowly helps Summer to learn to open her heart to love again. Meanwhile, living under the same roof gives Summer and Vivian a chance to mend fences as the holiday nears. Moreover, with a little help from the magical Christmas village, the family will be brought closer together.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Fan-favorite actress Alison Sweeney plays the role of Summer and is known for Days of Our Lives and many other Hallmark movies. Meanwhile, Luke Macfarlane has been a Hallmark staple for some time and also stars in Bros.

Marlo Thomas plays Summer’s mom, Vivian, and has an impressive biography. However, she is recently known for her role in Playing Mona Lisa, the Miley Cyrus dramedy LOL, the comedy The Female Brain and the action movie Ocean’s Eight. Meanwhile, Maesa Nicholson plays Chloe and is known for her role in Dying for Chocolate: A Curious Caterer Mystery.
