Great American Community To Feature 15 New Series With Familiar Faces

Former Hallmark Channel boss, Bill Abbott of Great American Media will feature 15 new short-form series on the new Great American Community. Launching on September 26, the direct-to-consumer service will also feature advice and inspirational stories from the hosts. Meanwhile, as noted by Variety, many of those hosts will be familiar to Hallmark viewers.

Among the shows featured on Great American Community, one will see Danica McKellar offering healthy cooking. Meanwhile, another Hallmark alum Cameron Mathison will offer help in organizing Christmas decorations.

In a press release, Bill Abbott said they are thrilled to be launching Great American Community with 15 new, always-on series. He said they are “topical, relatable” and hosted by their growing family of recognizable talent. Abbott added:

This new platform represents an important evolution of the company’s digital strategy and gives our passionate fans a fun and engaging new way to interact with our stars in a trusted, family-friendly environment, 365 days a year.

Besides Mathison and McKellar, the new series will be headlined by a number of actors and hosts. These include Jill Wagner, Trevor Donovan, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lauren Makk, Kym Douglas, Larissa Wohl, Emily Hutchinson, Lawrence Zarian, Shirley Bovshow, Maria Provenzano, Jamie Tarence, Mahaila McKellar and Lizzy Mathis.

About the new series on Great American Community

Executive producers of these new series on Great American Community are Laura Pierson, Tracy Verna and Michael Hinkley. All of them worked on Home & Family when it aired on Hallmark Channel. Read on to find out more about the new series.

1. The Modern Mom

Debbie Matenopoulos (Home & Family, The View), a well-known TV presenter and talk show host, will share delicious, easy-to-master recipes as well as fashion and beauty advice. Meanwhile, Debbie will share all the tips and tricks she has learned in her two-decade career as a TV host and lifestyle expert. New episodes of The Modern Mom will drop every Monday and Friday on Great American Community.

2. Giving & Caring with Larissa Wohl

Next in line is a pet adoption advocate and TV host, Larissa Wohl (Home & Family, K-9 Hero Project), in Giving & Caring with Larissa Wohl. She will share heartwarming and uplifting segments in her series of shelter spotlights, animal adoptions and features on people who do amazing things. This series will feature on Great American Community on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

3. Affordably Fabulous with Lauren Makk

In Affordably Fabulous with Lauren Makk, Lauren (Design Star: Next Gen, Home Made Simple) will offer tips and tricks for a fabulous life on a budget. This new series will air on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

4. Beauty and Blessings with Kym Douglas

Next in line is Beauty and Blessings with Kym Douglas. In this series, Kym Douglas, beauty expert and daytime TV staple, will feature beauty and skincare tips. She will also offer fashion advice, devotionals and ways to feel beautiful inside-out. Beauty and Blessings with Kym Douglas airs on Wednesdays and Sundays.

5. Eden Living with Shirley Bovshow

This series features landscaping artist and expert gardener Shirley Bovshow (Home & Family, Welcome to Great American Christmas). She will teach viewers how to care for plants and flowers in their garden. Gardening and landscaping tips will air every Thursday and Saturday.

6. Everyday Celebrations with Maria Provenzano

This series stars celebrity baker and chef, Maria Provenzano (Home & Family, From Scratch with Maria). Every day with Maria is a celebration as she teaches viewers how to bake, cook delicious meals and more. This new series drops on Wednesdays and Fridays.

7. A Beautiful Life with Lawrence Zarian

This new series stars TV presenter, fashion maven and author Lawrence Zarian (The Kelly Clarkson Show, Home & Family). In the series, Lawrence will inspire and uplift women of every shape and size via fashion and stories from his podcast. A Beautiful Life with Lawrence Zarian airs each week on Mondays and Fridays.

8. All Things Cool with Lizzy Mathis

Lifestyle expert Lizzy Mathis is the founder of The Cool Mom. Co. Meanwhile, like all moms, Mathis is a powerhouse and she reminds mamas to put themselves first. Meanwhile, she helps them reignite personal passions while bringing that cool to motherhood. This new series airs on Great American Community each Friday and Sunday.

9. The Sweet Life with Emily Hutchinson

Celebrity baking star, Emily Hutchinson (Christmas Cookie Matchup, The Hutch Oven) covers anything viewers want to bake. Meanwhile, Emily teaches how to bake the most delicious and eye-catching creations. This new series airs on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

10. Southern Savvy with Jamie Tarence

Southern connoisseur, chef, podcast host and author Jamie Tarence (Family Savvy, Matchmaker) shares all things Southern living in her new series. The show will feature everything from cooking and baking, to fashion and beauty. The series airs on Great American Community on Mondays and Thursdays.

11. The Mindful Life with Mahaila McKellar

Author and actress Mahaila McKellar (Christmas at Grand Valley, Math Bites) shares her knowledge as a certified meditation teacher. Meanwhile, she brings positivity and mindfulness to those with stress-filled days. This new series airs on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

12. The Good Life with Cameron Mathison

Starring TV star, host, presenter and Hallmark alum Cameron Mathison (General Hospital, A Merry Christmas Wish), this show teaches how to create a healthier life from the inside out. The Good Life with Cameron Mathison can be seen on Tuesdays and Sundays.

13. Bits of Joy with Danica McKellar

This series features former Hallmark star, Danica McKellar (The Winter Palace, The Wonder Years). Danica loves being positive and helping others to do the same. She will share Healthy Bits, Bible Bits, and Math Bits. This new series airs on Mondays and Thursdays.

14. Farm and Family with Jill Wagner

This new series features actress and presenter, Jill Wagner (Christmas Miracle with Daisy, A Merry Christmas Wish). Every Wednesday and Sunday, Jill offers a beautiful glimpse into her life on a farm in Nashville. She will include tours of the property, family life, working out and Soulful Sundays.

15. Everyday Adventures with Trevor Donovan

Meanwhile, one of TV’s most recognizable faces, Trevor Donovan (90210, Jingle Bell Princess) also shares his life. Trevor loves acting, and his dogs, and shares the everyday adventures that bring him joy. This series airs on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Great American Community.
